While staying at the Drake, we when up to the top for a bite to eat and a nightcap. Nice views of the city. Service was good.

We visited the original Starlight many times and always loved the atmosphere and awesome dance music. We visited for the first time since the “reimagining” and were very disappointed. The place is now very modern cookie cutter city bar with a sterile feel, completely lacking the character it was known for. Service very slow, but the drinks were good. This was one of our go to dance spots in the city but sadly that is no more. The DJ played such heavily mixed tracks that by the time you got to the dance floor some electronic mix started with a different song, we were never able to actually dance. Overall sad and disappointed, doubt we will return.

We got there andwe were told that they don't use OpenTable and we had no reservation. They didn't accommodate us at all. And it was 8 o'clock on a Saturday night in San Francisco. They said we could go down in the restaurant and it would be an hour before we could get a table. Extremely disappointed!

Arriving at Lizzie's Starlight Room we were refused entry. Lizzie's Starlight Room although is listed on open table do not accept bookings via Open Table. This was both embarrassing and expensive having paid for an uber to get there and another uber home. Who is to blame here? Lizzie's or Open Table. This made us very gun shy about other bookings via Open Table and my lesson learned here is always to phone the restaurant and double check my booking. Why in fact should I use Open Table when I can just phone the restaurant in the first place to reserve and confirm. Grrrrr.
Service was excelent. The show was awesome. Great group of talented performers. The. Uffet had a great assortment of food. The bag renders madeperfe t mimosas. Thank you for a great time. Till the next one!

In our original reservation we had a party of four, we ended up with five people, the Maître D was more than happy to accommodate us. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. We had a fantastic night, I would recommend the Starlight Room to anyone looking for a fun night out.

I really wanted to like this place. The drinks were very decent. No problem there, except maybe a tad weak. Service was attentive without being obtrusive, so I was pleased. The food was at best average, and that's a stretch. Don't go for the food. Nothing wrong with it - you won't become ill. Just so mediocre! The atmosphere - well, it's a club, and the DJ hadn't started yet because I was there earlier than that. So, kinda boring with nothing going on. However, a terrific view of Union Square, at the top floor of the Kimpton Sir Francis Drake Hotel. The price was completely too high for what I had. Outrageous.

Need to have more servers on the floor. We waited a long time for a drink orders to be taken and served throughout the night. You're losing money! Room gets packed and number of staff is same as when tables are mostly empty. Use a "staffing guide" to schedule according to customer highs and lows. Your service is extremely poor. We visit often and it seems like it has gotten worse. Same problem when we were there New Years Eve and paid $400 for 2. P.S. Have DK play more danceable music. Gets erratic at times and people stop dancing.
