This place is a hidden gem in San Francisco! Local Roots is a great spot downtown for lunch. The food is delicious and feels so healthy. The wait can be a bit long because it’s often packed, but it’s worth the wait. Or, plan ahead and order online!
A couple of friends and I went to Local Roots for lunch today. We all ended up ordering the Monster burrito special. In many ways, it is just a regular burrito; rice, black beans, chicken, white cheddar, salsa, etc. wrapped in a spinach tortilla. But there are also some differences. The ingredients are fresher than a lot of cantinas, and there it is noticeably less salty. You can also change things up a little; add some fresh spinach, or cauliflower, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed...
