This place is a hidden gem. Nestled right in the middle of Union Square, this place offers cool vibes, good food and great service. I brought a friend of mine from NYC to this place for dinner on a rainy Sunday. We were promptly seated within 5 min where Beatriz Ro took care of us. The food came out quick and tasty. Each of is had a ham sandwich with a side of fries. It totally hit the spot. Nothing beats warm gooey cheddar as it rains. We were done eating within 45 min and the restaurant was winding down getting ready to close. Beatriz assured my friend and I we could stay and catch up. It had been since 2020 when I last saw my friend from back east. We were able to talk, enjoy the 1950's decor and connect after all that time. Beatriz not only made sure we were well cared for during that time, she also engaged us in great conversations. We even bonded over purple. And my dear friend LOVES purple. We had some good memories that night. Good food, great service and great friends. Thanks to Beatriz and all the team at Loris Diner. We'll be back, and for the rest of you - you should go check it out. It's worth the visit.

AVOID. I had a business meeting and ordered a salad because im weight cutting ( i do mma on the side) , my business partners orders burgers and steaks. i didn't get my food. my partners did. Why was the uncooked salad not made. You guys fail. i had to buy my business partners meal while stil being hungry.

Today I went to Lori’s Diner for the first time. I was impressed by the atmosphere, the staff is very nice. The waiter Beatriz Ro is a very nice and wonderful woman. Very tasty and relatively cheap… This is the place where I will definitely come back again )))

Had a seminar next door and went in to grab breakfast before. All the staff were attentive & kind; really prompt service! Stopped back in for a glass of wine at lunch and the manager, Jamba (sp?) was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend Lori’s, anytime of day when you’re in the area!

We went there for breakfast. Everything was very average. It wasn’t bad or awful, but it also wasn’t good or memorable. The interior of the restaurant, though, was nice and interesting. I really liked the old vintage car and the very old radios.
