We had a delicious dinner at Los Amigos for Christmas. The food is tasty and authentic. I really liked the grilled prawns and the guacamole. The horchata was delicious and the service was excellent! Thank you!
This spot on Market has changed over so many times, and I really hope this one makes it! The food is great (got the guac and the club sandwhich, good portions, not overly seasoned or fatty), and they now have a FULL bar! I got the vodka passionfruit thing and it was so good, not sweet at all, real passionfruit. This place is solid! Staff as always is lovely and the nicest.

This is a great Salvadorian place in the heart of the Castro. Staff is attentive and the food is delicious. The pupusas are a must!
Delicious!
Excellent food, super friendly staff and exquisite treatment. We will be back for sure
If you are in a hurry, don’t go here. The servers take your order and disappear because they know the kitchen is slow. They don’t even come and check on you until food the arrives an hour later. Even simple guac and chips for appetizer takes forever. They give you chips and supposed to be salsa, I guess, but that looks like a tomato soup. Not worth time and money,

Five stars at least!I went in because I heard beautiful music and lovely performers, they were really welcoming. The food was excellent, as were the margaritas. A recent reviewer said "they should hire someone who makes proper Mexican food" but actually, this is cuisine of El Salvador, and it is delicious!I can't wait to return to the USA to visit this establishment again.
Vegetarian options: The empanadas were delicious as were the sauted vegetables.
Kid-friendliness: They were really welcoming of families with kids.

Went here for a weekday lunch and ordered the Especial A, which is two pupusas of your choice and sides. I'm giving Los Amigos five stars just for this menu item, I can definitely see myself coming back just to eat it again, though I also want to try their other Salvadoran options.Super glad to see a new restaurant in this space! Pretty affordable also for a sit down lunch.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pupusas and salad options
Kid-friendliness: They have a high chair
Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor and no steps

Good environment, Service very good. I loved the burrito
Great service but below average food quality. To get a location like this, you need to focus on the food and be able to shine. I give the restaurant 8-12 months before they are out of business if the continue this way.
I think I reviewed the wrong one, but loved the service, mushroom pupusas and bottomless mimosas ?
Very familial atmosphere and food feels like I am at home. Great prices. The staff is very amicable and if there is something not on the menu that you would like they are very adaptable.
