I've been in San Francisco for 3 days and every restaurant I've been to pales in comparison to Los Yaquis! The food was incomparable. Drinks were amazing the mezcalita was top tier. No better service anywhere. I would come back to San Francisco just to visit this restaurant.

The server changed the bill on us. The itemized bill on the right was brought to us first, with all correct amounts. Then when he brought our card back for us to add tip, I noticed the subtotal was higher than the original, and therefore tax and tip options were higher. I brought this to his attention and he said it was a mistake and he must have put in the table number or something. It was obvious it was intentional and he was counting on us not noticing. He offered cash because it would “take a few days to go back into our account”, but I insisted it be credited back to our card and for a new receipt. Very shady and so many other better options to eat at. But if you do go, def double check your checks.

Lovely neighborhood hidden spot right in plain sight. Portions were good size. The Puntas de Albañill had everything, chix, sausage, steak & prawns with lots of cheese. Yummy!! perfect for 3 with two appetizers, we were stuffed. Great sangria! The Aguachille was very good too. The service was awesome! Parking can be challenging at Park Precita.

I had not been to Los Yaquis for quite some time. The zarandeado fish was phenomenal, as always. Unfortunately, there was some confusion during the ordering, and we got the pescado frito. We were going to eat it, but it was severely overcooked and dry. Trying to give it back was a hassle. With a 300$+ tab, we should not be receiving so much lip from a waitress. Maybe she was having a bad day, but being in the service industry, the condescending tone and slowly saying f-r-i-t-o as if we did not understand what that meant was an ugly experience. I used to go there every weekend about 2 years ago and had a great waiter. Customer service needs to be improved because the food has always been a hit.

Great spot for nice Mexican food! Some combos that I've never tried before, like pollo con crema chipotle and camarones grilled shrimp with garlic over fries.Will definitely come back to try bone marrow, enchiladas, and some appies!
