Was looking for a new place to eat, and we happen to find this hidden gem in Bernal Heights. The place was small but cute and welcoming. The decor was homey and the food was delicious. We started with cheese fondue with chorizo and rajas de chille poblanos to drink we ordered a mezqualita de tamarindo. Our main dishes were enchiladas suizas and my husband got caldo de camarones. Presentation was on point and they served homemade corn tortillas also on point. Everything was delicious...
Absolutely great food, service, and vibe. Would come back. Try their different salsa including the hot ones. More flavor than just heat. Wonderful experience all around. Thank you Margarita.
On some days you just crave that perfect made guacamole chips and salsa and yesterday was such a day. Los Yaquis came to the rescue and delivered and then some. I really enjoyed this experience, the place was busy , customers were waiting outside but I was lucky to get a spot at the community table. Impressive, the front of the house was run by a single lady but she kept the orders going and food delivered without feeling that you were waiting around.
