Lily and her family make a great team. Very friendly bar, with good service and generous measures of drinks at very reasonable prices. Luckily we were staying just down Post so it quickly became our go-to bar during our short stay in SF. Lovely chicken wings too. Thanks for a great time.

It’s a cute and restauranty-vibe bar in SF. They do have cats that just roam around! We saw a white one but didn’t snap a photo. The waitress only visited once when we ordered and then to deliver the food, so we didn’t really get any attention from them even though it wasn’t that busy (Thursday night). Speaking of drinks, I asked for some recommendations on whisky and was surprised when the check came because the waitress had recommended/given me a $30/glass whisky without any heads up. So, it was an unintentional expensive evening. But the vibe of the place was good with good energy. We ordered chips, dip, and garlic fries. Food took about 40 min to come out. So, prepare to chill for awhile. It was fine for us since we were just catching up. But always good to know. So overall it was cute but I’ll go somewhere else next time.

lovely spot!! it was incredibly loud so i ended up losing my voice trying to talk with friends :,) it feels like a hangout spot at night rather than a dive bar or a classy date spot, which is really perfect if you're wanting to spend time with close friends. the drinks are very tasty as well!

I mean..... there's a cat at this bar (sometimes). What else can you want?? Initially we came and the cat wasn't around. But when we asked the staff about Toby, they ended up bringing him around 40 minutes later!! Toby is this adorable munchkin orange tabby. This was the first time I met a munchkin cat and he was SO FRIENDLY. Low key this review is going to be mostly about Toby lol. The food was very tasty!! I was surprised at how good the food was, and how well they paced out the dishes. Right after we finished our second to last bite, Toby emerged. He was SO cute. And so unafraid. It was actually quite surprising how bold he was! I was so happy they ended up bringing him, and he made the ambiance 10x better. They had decorations on all the walls honoring Toby and other feline friends, but having a cat at the actual bar made it an exciting experience. You can tell I like cats lol. Thank you Lost Cat Bar!! I will be coming again and asking for Toby :)

I ordered the Sagittarius cocktail since that is my zodiac sign -- only right for a Sag to drink her drink. It was really good -- definitely my type of drink. I could really taste the vanilla from the soda that was in there which gave it that creaminess. My friends ordered the strawberry bee and night in Shanghai drinks. Since it was also happy hour, also ordered a mango margarita. The bartender and owner (?) were really nice as well.

It was my first time here and I had a wonderful experience. I really appreciate the staff all around were attentive and went around checking on customers frequently so that no one had to go to the bar, wait in long lines, etc, the typical stuff that would happen in other bars and lounges.I was hoping I would run into a cat here judging from the pictures but I didn't see any Friday night. I love the ambience, the vibe, and the music here. I really appreciate that they kept the music at a good level where you could hear it but also not be drowned out or overpowered by noise so you could actually have conversations and whatnot.The drinks and food were good. We got the Golden Ticket, Hot Buttered Rum, and I think something with Apple. The garlic fries and chip and dip were phenomenal as well though I wish they included more fries haha since our bowl came half full.The staff again, are phenomenal and thank you for this wonderful birthday experience.

This place is around the corner from me and I love the vibe here. I usually show up after work and work on some small sketches at the bar and enjoy a nice hand crafted Night in Shanghai. Also, who doesn't like cats!!!!

We came at a pretty busy time so sadly we didn't get to visit with the owners cat (a little shy when it's crowded we were told) The bartenders were incredibly friendly and helpful when answering my questions about their craft cocktails. Can't wait to return!
