The burger was really great. Different taste from other options around. Problem is that I was given the wrong beer, a lager and not a stout that has the same name. Others in our group had their orders incorrect for their burger toppings. But we just dealt with it.

This place has the most delicious burgers I've ever had. Besides burgers, the rest of the food is also amazing. The staff is friendly and fun. They have a full bar with great cocktails. The ambiance is nice, but the only downside is that the restrooms are in bad shape.

Came in on a business trip, wanted to find a bar with good food and a nice atmosphere and I found all that at Louis's.
Rolled in at 10:00 pm on a Monday after a 5 hour flight. There were roughly 20 people in the place, 15 or which were at one long table in the back. Acoustics aren't the best as the group was loud. I sat at the bar and ordered an IPA from the list of about 20 draft beers available. I ordered a burger and fries and it was very good. I'm from the south and had never tried the beer Pliny the Elder and enjoyed a bottle before departing. The service was good throughout my stay at Louie's. I definitely recommend this place.

I absolutely love this place. I’ve been in the Bay Area from New York for 8 years and this place is one of the most welcoming friendliest, old time San Francisco establishments I’ve been to. It’s a nice diverse crowd, the food is delicious and there is just this energy that makes you feel at home. Love the vibe. Ryan and Cindy are wonderful. Actually all of the bartenders are!

Honestly the worst service/attitude I've had in the city in a while. Both times I've gone, the bartenders are incredibly rude and short with you if you have a simple question or request they don't want to comply with. They lack tact and friendliness. I won't be back.
