Always enjoy our dining experience at Lupa. Great food, great service and love the outdoor heated patio area. Definitely going back soon.
The lasagna was tender and a mild flavor. The pork chop with fennel, chard and roasted potatoes was good.
Lupa is our favorite special occasion spot! The staff is incredible and the experience is quite nice and warm feeling
Lupe Trattoria is a great dining experience. The food is excellent. My dinner guest said that her calamari dish was the best she had ever had. I am addicted to their lasagna!
The veal scaloppine was delicious, and I appreciated that they have grilled instead of fried calamari. Atmosphere is fine but nothing special.
Great service & friendly atmosphere. Many locals and return customers were dining or came by to say hi. Food was well timed and delicious. Good portion size. Wine list was unique and affordable. Definitely a place to go.
Lupa is our neighborhood favorite! The food is always delicious, and the nonpretentious atmosphere feels warm and inviting.
The back patio is quite (but don't tell anyone). The heaters back there make it comfortable. Joseph did a good sever job (again). The food was tasty.
all the food was good- excellent cornish hen an halibut. no dogs allowed at all even in the enclosed patio- sadly there were some noisy children at 6pm but otherwise very quiet always a pleasure to eat at Lupa- fabulous bread

We had a reservation and were able to select the table by the window facing the street. The server was very attentive and came by several times to check on us and see if we needed anything else. The entree food (veal scallopini was excellent for the ladies and I had the homemade fettuccine). The spinach salad and Caesar salad were delicious. Everything was just right for our restaurant experience.
Our first visit here was a mixed experience.
Service was a strong point. It was attentive and efficient from start to finish.
The food, however, didn’t quite hit the mark. The salads were fine, but the main dishes and bread lacked distinction. Nothing was bad, just nothing memorable.
One notable downside was the seating for two. In the main dining room, we were initially placed very close to neighboring tables. After asking for something more private we were placed along a busy walkway used by staff. It made private conversation difficult and didn’t feel ideal for a date night.
On the positive side, while the restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived, it filled up quickly with families and larger groups. That’s usually a good sign. I’d say it’s worth trying if you’re in a group of three or more, but it's probably not my pick for a more intimate meal for two

We love Lupa! It is an exceptional neighborhood Italian restaurant. All of their pastas are delicious. I am especially fond of the NY Steak - it's one of the best deals in the city.
Perfect for a nice meal with people you love. The service is fantastic and the food delicious. Calm enough inside to actually talk
