A great neighborhood music venue on Divisadero, Always a good time. I didn't eat there but food looked and smelled good. The entertainment was fabulous. Eric McFadden and RonKat Spearman from P funk made a special appearance along with other fine musicians.

Depending on your style and music selection take your time to see what nights are offering live music. Im always there on Motown Mondays. Call me an old soul. But they offer a day and night for everyone.

Finally made it to motown Monday. We went early, and everyone clapped when we walked in. Everyone danced with everyone. What a welcoming place. Many of the regulars were ready to go by 9:30. Perfect for a work night! Definitely going again.

This is a cool little bar in San Francisco. I was visiting on a Monday and asked where there was music, and someone suggested this place. Funnily enough, every Monday there is Motown Mondays here, and I happen to be in town on a Monday from Motown Detroit. They played some great Detroit soul and funk and r&b and dance and beyond.
They have one mocktail on the menu, which I appreciate, but it costs the same as the cocktails, which I think is greedy. It of course costs the bartender time to mix a mocktail, so it shouldn't necessarily be super cheap (plus you should tip well), but I think the bar should pass on at least some of the cost savings of a mocktail onto the customers instead of price-gouging people who aren't drinking that night.
