Great place for drinks and dancing.

If you’ve ever wanted to meet Hellen Keller come to this bar. You will not be seen, heard, or communicated with effectively. Came in on a Tuesday night for a chill drink and the bartender was one of the rudest people I’ve ever met in my life. He came at me and my friend hostile from the jump, then proceeded to badger us for what he believed to be a reasonable tip, THEN tried to steal my friends phone after yelling in his face. Most unprofessional, lame, sorry excuse of an establishment I’ve ever stepped foot in. This is disappointing too as I had heard great things but will now be spreading the news that if you want a free harassment, come to the make out room.

I haven't been here in quite some time but Saturday night I came to see a show. My friend was playing in her band. It was great!! It's definitely on my list of go-to music venues. It still has the dive bar, rock and roll, Mission vibe. Bartenders are nice. Drinks are nicely priced.
The one thing I didn't expect is that after the show the main floor turns into a dance floor. The DJs are great too.

Honestly the place was just ok, $10 for cover for that place? Idk.
But the worst bartender ever.
I asked for just a beer, I don’t usually tip with my card ( I always carry cash to tip them)
When I was paying my beer with the card I selected the not tip option ( I was going to tip with cash) so the bartender Attacked me asking me “ why I didn’t tip him?”
Saying that I was a “low class customer”,
threatening saying “ I will remember you” and expressing that he can’t no survive with his salary and so and so.
I’m my opinion tips are for a good customer service and is not mandatory if u have the worst service.
Including another friend (woman) had the same experience with the same guy
The worst service in the bay

I had a great time here, great DJs with very interesting music. The bartender wasn’t friendly at all, but still worth visiting to go dancing

Sankazakgascar rocking the MakeOut Room
Maybe it was just the night when I went, but definitely nothing special about this spot.
The bouncers were a bit nasty for no reason. $10 cover fee for whaaaaaaa? that’s why you’re empty
They had 1 choice for sake, which was lukewarm and tasted horrible.
Music was 11/10, bunch of weirdos present when I was there (perhaps I came too late).
I will only come again if my friends force me to lol

Fun little nightclub with retro vibes often featuring live music. When I went it was a 90’s night and we danced and sang the whole night away! The drinks are nothing really to write home about but the atmosphere is just so much fun it’s really a great place to go!
If I could give this place an 11 for atmosphere I would. It's a solid bar with great cocktails and really great service. The bartenders there were amazing. It was crowded and they handled everything like champs. They had like three live bands playing and still didn't wink and I these guys were great. I would highly recommend going.
All kinds of live music happening here including a monthly improvised music series that I try to attend. Nicely decorated fun place.
best place to dance in sf!!!!

Such a great, unique vibe inside! That said, we paid $10 for an abysmal DJ set. Check music before ya go!
