Wonderful food and service, a lovely place to hang out with friends and colleagues, they have nice big tables and couches and even a piano! The food is excellent, high quality and reasonable, with good portions and thoughtfully provided sauces and lettuce, pickles etc.

On the rare occasion when the overpriced slop actually is edible, it can be FINE. Portions are weak as well as their options. I’d rather eat pelican meat.

Extremely bad prices for mediocre food. Inconsistent portions for the same meals. Poor options for food. painful ordering system that doesn't let you order what is ready half the time. You'd be better off making food in your dorm. Quit trying to be fancy and have well done basics!

the food was fine. JANICE WAS THE BEST PART OF IT ALL! if anyone goes to this cafe, and janice is working, you are so lucky. she is very sweet and kind and (in my opinion) the best cashier i’ve ever seen. she is dedicated, hardworking, kind, and loving. shout out to Janice!!

If you have radiation-mutated tastebuds, this is the place for you

Vegetarian options lack nutrition. I’ve talked to the staff and the dietitian and still no change. Four years of this and we’ll all have scurvy; I’ve already developed iron deficiency and symptoms of fatigue. The vegan “meat” genuinely makes me gag, especially the undisclosed “steak.” Indescribably foul. Restaurant prices for prison food.

Me and multiple people I know have gotten food poisoning from here. And I spent $6 on an order of mozzarella sticks to get 5 sticks…it tastes like the shadow food rather than the real thing. Imagine having child a who grew up on an island only eating whatever he could find, you save him, and put him in charge of recipes at an eating establishment…that’s Makers Cafe. *it’s not the chefs it’s the food whoever comes up with the recipes makes them cook.

The food is horrible. There is no service because you order in a kiosk.

If you like college level dining commons, this is the place for you. Great location for healthy cheap eating in the city.
