Fried chicken sandwich was mostly mayonaise and fry batter, kinda inedible. The environment was clean and hip, the service was great. Perhaps I just should've ordered something different as many other people seemed to be enjoying their meals.
Called this location because the Mill Valley location’s phone was jot working. The worker was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with helping us ensure that we wouldn’t run into any celiac- related food issues. Have not gotten food from this location but the MV location is good. Blown away by the service - wish I had gotten the workers name.

Great, spicy sandwich. Rice box with MSG was full of flavor. Just right portions for a quick lunch.

We got takeout from Mamahuhu's last weekend and were impressed at the quality/portions of food, especially for the reasonable prices!
For two people, we ordered the Crunchy Cabbage Salad, Mapo Tofu with Pork, and the Broccoli & Mushroom dishes, along with a large side of rice.
We were pleasantly surprised with the Crunchy Cabbage Salad (5/5), which was very crispy (as advertised), and had a nice kick from the citrus (mandarin segments) and scallions. The dressing was really tasty, we just wish it was served with a little bit more.
The Mapo Tofu with Pork (4/5) was also very good. Admittedly, I have never had mapo tofu before, but really enjoyed the dish. The gravy was nice and unctious, although the dish was a bit milder than I expected. Fortunately, they provided a side of chili crisp, which my partner and I both added to give the dish more of a kick.
Finally, the Broccoli & Mushroom (4/5) was very good with fat chunks of shiitake mushroom, although could have used more of the mushroom gravy described in the description. The lack of sauce made it more like chunks of sauteed broccoli, cauliflower, and shiitakes, but we used the extra gravy from the mapo tofu as a sauce, which added additional flavor.
Overall, I enjoyed trying Mamahuhu's takes on Chinese-American food. Next time we would try some of their most ordered dishes, such as the Broccoli & Beef or Sweet & Sour Chicken.

Good casual spot for east asian cuisine, mapo tofu is a good reccomened choice. Lot of vegetarian options
The past few times I’ve ordered takeout from Mamahuhu the portion sizes have been decreasingly smaller. For an $18 entree I’d expect much more. Food tastes good but becoming way overpriced for portions.

I've gotten large catering orders from Mamahuhu and they have been nothing short of amazing. Getting the rice plate with your choice of protein in the way to go. I got the lazi chicken and the spice level is just right, most of our group ordered sweet and sour chicken and rave about it. The portions are generous and delicious. Aside from the quality of the food, the staff's attention to detail when it comes to the packaging and labeling is top notch! I look forward to coming to dine in and try more items from the menu. Thank you Mamahuhu Team!

Nice place
It's noisy, like anywhere, but the food here is very tasty.
Sweet and sour chicken and beef with broccoli are traditional dishes that taste a little different here, and even better, than in classic Chinese restaurants.

Ordered the Lazi Chicken, a spicy dish, battered fried chicken pieces. It was delicious but too much batter like eating thick potato chips and rather have it lightly battered, so that's why the 3 stars. Had similar before elsewhere so the batter was a bit much.
The spicy strawberry and coconut milk drink was phenomenal and never had before so definitely a 5 star as it wasn't spicy at all. The strawberry crunch soft serve was delicious ?, too.

Just buzzing with v.efficient service to boot, like all SF Chinese places. Food is a slightly different kettle of fish in that you can get Dim sum (at night!!) as well as a hot pot!!! Rad. My advice: order both, let the hungry eat some hot pot and take the rest home, even if just broth.

I was looking forward to the food as I had heard good things but was underwhelmed with the flavor and portion size for the price. The atmosphere is trendy and modern.

Vegetarian options: Their vegetables are fresh and delicious. I don't get the opportunity to eat vegetable forward dishes that are as delicious as the ones at Mama Huhu.
Dietary restrictions: I don't eat mids food. Mama Huhu is excellent.
