as a chinese american who grew up in a chinese immigrant town eating my moms cooking, i love this place especially since im gluten intolerant. i rarely get to enjoy chinese food like this and come regularly for the delicious mains and creative drinks like sichuan strawberry drinks
as an asian i thought the food was authentic and i enjoyed the meal. we ordered the cabbage salad, mapo tofu with pork and lazi ji, and a side of rice. for two, the portions were big and we left very full and satisfied. i’d come back again for the lazi ji which was so crispy and fried to perfection, and maybe the chicken sandwich.
It would have been nicer to know ahead of time some how. Like, a sign on the door or something because the server didn't tell anyone until they got to the front of the line. The party ahead of me decided to leave when they heard.
