Delicious and authentic mixed of Colombian and Venezuelan vegan arepa with black beans, ripe plantains, and avocado,
I found a piece for art that shows Colombians and Venezuelan leaving their countries because corrupted politicians and searching for better opportunities somewhere else

Terrible attitude and service from the gentleman so we wouldn't come back, we couldn't even get in and with that attitude we ran away, how ugly people like that are.
Everything is very rich.

Great place in the Marina to eat absolutely delicious stuffed arepas. We had the chicken and we were blown away at how good the arepa itself was, the just crispy texture and the chicken filling generous and scrumptious! Comes with a fresh salad with light dressing . Mamo is open for lunch a few days a week and for dinner.

We loved this neighborhood spot. Amazing latin food in a cozy setting with great, quick service. If you're looking for something off the more basic path of Chestnut, highly recommend!

Restaurantji Recommends
The food looks nice, but the taste doesn't match up. I ordered a grilled steak, but it came out rare, which isn't my preference. When I asked politely for it to be cooked more, the waiter replied, "We only cook to medium here," with an unfriendly attitude. It should be clearly stated on the menu if they only cook to that level, so people like me who prefer their meat more cooked don't waste their money. I was giving this restaurant another chance, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it for Latin cuisine.

First restaurant for us in San Francisco. Excellent welcome. Our English wasn't great so the owner took the time to show us on his phone. Everything was very good. And the music is very nice.I recommend !

Everything was so good. I brought my mom here for a birthday lunch and we enjoyed every bite. It's very small but very cozy. We felt welcome and at home.
