It’s close and there is no information about it on website, google says it’s open like any other day. Well…. It’s not :(

really good food, I can't believe they weren't packed! everything tasted fresh and authentic, our group tried 8 different meals and we were all satisfied. wouldn't be mad to have more food on the plate 🤪 definitely recommend! service was prompt

Wonderful food and charming service. The two purveyors are from Sardinia and Sicily, and were gracious. We could smell the garlic cooking while we were eating bread and sipping on our wine. The gnocchi was fantastic. Spaghetti and meatballs also great. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend this place.

My server was attentive but borderline creepy and wouldn’t stop calling me Bella and watching me eat. I was dining alone and did not like it. I loved my salad, but the carbonara was a big miss and lacked a lot of depth and flavor - also clearly used bacon and not pancetta listed on the menu. The sauv blanc was also undrinkable

Amazing Italian food!
The service and atmosphere was relaxing, friendly--like visiting your family in Sicily.
Great wine and food suggestions.
We ate polenta gratinata and the bread as antipasti. The polenta was smooth and flavorful and the bread crisp with a tasty olive oil/tempanade.
Our main courses were gnocchi al gorgonzola, ravioli di spinaci, lasagna, and saltimbocca. Everyone one of them was full of flavor and delicious.

Lasagna, bolognese, and rigatoni.

The service was great and my partner and I had the whole restaurant to ourselves on the day after Valentine’s Day.

I jokingly said “I actually booked the whole restaurant for ourselves” by how convenient the setting was.

Overall, food was great, bread was good, and the price was just right for San Francisco

Food was delicious and service was quick. We ate in at 6PM on a Sunday and we were the only ones there - not sure why, this restaurant was great.

Horrible place. Not Italien at all. Avoid at all cost and thank me later.

Our group of 4 all raved about the food. Fresh pasta from spaghetti, fettuccine, pappardelle and orecchiette was perfection. The tiaramisu is not to be missed. The best we’ve had. Service was amazing. Will be coming back again and again.

i’ve been coming here for 25 years. This is one of the most fun and authentic Italian in the city. Have them put peas on anything. The Caesar salad is amazing. You have to get the rigatoni with Italian sausage. also great for big groups and wedding parties.

Quite possibly the worst meal I’ve ever had. Service was ok…the guy tried and could appreciate his effort, but when you find a bug in the ceaser salad, it puts a real damper on anything that comes after. The comment? “It happens in the restaurant business”….um no it doesn’t and definitely should not happen. That is basic food prep. Look…having been in the biz for many years, I get it, but I’ve never ever served an insect. Gnocchi was ok…swimming in sauce, server said the seafood linguine came with mussels and shrimp, but there were zero mussels. “Everything is fresh including the pasta…made today” ummm nope…pasta was chalky and bland. Spag and meatballs were basic. No flavor.
Decent prices, but light pours on the wine by the glass. Mediocre wine selection as well.
I rarely rate restaurants but was compelled to after this debacle. $200 mistake.

Fresh pasta and homemade gnocchi, and ragù like grandma's.
There are restaurants nearby with more reviews, but they are not as good and Italian as this one.
Highly recommended!
Very kind staff.
