Went here near closing as I was craving Pinoy food. Pork in coconut tasted okay but portion was small.

Pros: I really like this place! The flavors are very authentic and delicious. I got the beef pares once and also got the Sisig. On another occasion I got the vegetarian bowl which was tofu but cooked in a savory and tangy seasoning. The flavors don't miss here!! I think anything you order you will be satisfied with the taste. It is also a walk up and order place in the Twitter building market on the bottom floor so expect fast and friendly service as well! This is definitely a place that introduces Filipino food to the mainstream crowd so don't expect the super authentic dishes here such as sinigang or diniguan. They keep it basic with just a few dishes. Cons: There are a couple things I would like to mention. The portions are small compared to real hole in the wall Filipino eateries. You will be content with the amount of food but you want be fed until full like I'm more authentic restaurants. There is a little salad served with the food which is not common in Filipino cuisine. I think this just takes up space in the plate/bowl. Also, sometimes their rice will be a bit soft and mushy. Maybe because I go there later in the day and the rice is just sitting? I cannot tell you why, but sometimes it's a bummer to get soft mushy rice. Overall this place is the best stall in the Twitter market!

I got the lechon with brown rice. Very good lechon. The meat is juicy and the skin is very crispy. I'm not a fan of the lechon sarsa or sauce in general so I ate the pork with the atchara or pickled veggies (great combo). My only suggestion is to have a vinegar sauce (cebu style) and maybe more atchara. This is more on the pricey side at 18$ but it's a big serving. I think it's worth it.The service is also very good. Friendly. Attentive. I would come back to try their adobo and x-silogs.

$3 extra if you wanna do two meats/viands (half and half). Ridiculous. Located inside the same building as Twitter (inside the Market). Tiny portion on the meat. Rice portion was big but overcooked and mushy.

I ordered lechon bowl and was really disappointed.I guess it was just one of those expectation vs reality thing. The dish was microwaved and the taste is really nothing special with really greassy and rubbery feel. The only thing I liked is the side veggies, but Food still gets 1 star because the main is bad. There was nobody attending the store when we came in and the app where you can order was not working as well. We waited for about 5 mins before we were help. The attendant was nice though. The table and chairs are shared with all the other food stores and is okay. The store itself is pretty decent. So over all, I think lechon bowl for $20 is not really worth it for me, even if the ambiance is decent, the food just falls below expectation. Not recommended.

I've been going to Manila Bowl for months now and usually get their Chicken Sisig ever since I stopped eating pork. I will say that this is the best place around me if I wanted something quick, healthy, and affordable.I also would like to highlight that the service here is amazing. Food is always served fast and the team is friendly. After getting my order, I usually sit in one of the tables around the common area.I've been recommending this place for my friends and highly recommend getting a bowl here!

Really good Filipino food at a great price. My in laws are Filipino and they line the food. Everything from the chicken or pork adobo to the beef paras is delicious. Run by the nicest people in town. Go there now

Quality has gone way downhill. I'm mixed Filipina and come here from time to time for a quick lunch. I love lechon, and in the past, the lechon bowls at Manila Bowl have satisfied my craving for crispy, fatty pork and rice! Got a lechon bowl today, and it was barely edible. I'm really upset that I spent almost $20 on this! The meaty parts were almost all fat. Everything was super greasy, yet the actual meat part was super dry. You can see from the photo that there were a lot of old / almost burnt parts too (like it has been sitting in the heater for too much time.) I'm so disappointed, and will most likely not be getting my quick Filipino lunch fix here anymore.

Recommendation: Eat hereReview type: Take-outReturning customer: YesI went here for the first time. This is more of a fusion between California style and filipino food. I ordered several dishes, including the sigsig and lechon order. Although I did order extra meat for the lechon dish ($3 extra), it wasn't necessary because I was surprised by how much portions they gave! (I assumed the portions were small because of the location). The lechon was well seasoned. My two cons about the lechon are: 1) very fatty so be careful if you're eating actual meat or actual fat (I had to trim the fat off myself, which is disappointing because I already paid extra for the meat, and it is ironic because this place infuses a California twist that would indicate "healthy" at least) and 2) the lechon skin is tough instead of crispy and crunchy, which is how it is normally prepared and cooked) - think of the Hawaiian pork that they roast over the fire. Based on all these reasons I rate it a 4 of 5 stars, and will be a returning customer.

This is a great option for lunch. We got the chicken sisig and beef pares bowl. The chicken sisig was tender and cooked nicely with chopped onions. The beef pares was also good with a sweet and savory sauce that had star anise and tasted similar to five spice. The location in the food hall also means drinks and other snack options are also nearby. Overall a solid spot!
