The food at Marlow has some hit and miss. We started with the Brussel sprouts chips. I'd say it is crumbs, not chips. Not one single chip is bigger than 1/2”. The burger is good as usual and the pork cheek is rich with flavor. The service is the major problem. We waited for quite awhile before the server arrived. Before we ordered, I asked the server about the truffle butter for the pork cheek whether it is in the broth or on top. She did not have the answer and had to check with the kitchen. She did not come back right away but eventually came back to give me the answer. I asked to put the butter on the side. The food delivered by the busboy and she never came back to check our meal. The quality of the service reflects on the tips.

I haven't been to Marlowe's for quite sometime so I was really looking forward to our visit. We were there for Happy Hour so the menu was limited although I was really looking forward to the burger since the description made my mouth water. As much as I hate to say this, it was very disappointing. The bun was cool and a bit dry, the burger had zero flavor, the caramelized onions were hidden like a glob in the middle of the bun. Very disappointing. The fries were great. My friend ordered shrimp - yummy, the salad w/persimmons - also yummy and the charred brussel sprouts were super greasy so the waiter took it off our bill. We'll give it another try when we can go for lunch or dinner, forget Happy Hour.

The ambience was fun and energetic. Service was good. The food was tasty however we did find the salmon and chicken dishes too salty. Deviled egg was delicious.

We had a delightful Christmas Eve Dinner with a great waiter to help us. Wonderful evening!!

Service was amazing and so helpful as we do not live in sf and needed help heading to a show after dinner

The food was wonderful. We had the brick chicken and salmon dishes with a side of truffle mushrooms. The flavor was absolutely amazing. The portions were n the smaller side, but worked. Highly recommend.

Wonderful burger and gougeres. Good but not great seasonal salad, overpowered by vinaigrette. Waiter excellent but busboy tried to remove unfinished plates and drink without asking

The front of the house was welcoming. The server was delightful. Food came out quickly. Water glasses refilled without asking. Portions are small. Broccoli chips nice but very light. Cheese puffs with salmon spread delicious. Hamburger and fries awesome. Seafood with dirty rice delicious but for $38 the portion was ridiculously small. A few table spoons of rice. Scattered calamari rings and clams. Very disappointing for the price. Cheesecake dessert very nice. Be forewarned this is a VERY noisy restaurant.

Requested specific table and they sat drop in instead. Second time this has happened. They didn't seem to care.

The place is overrated. It was very disappointing. The food is below average for the prices they are charging. One of the worst stakes I have ever had in my life.

We brought some friends before the theater. Service ensured that we left in time for the performance. The food was so impressive that our friends will return. Good time had by all...

Too little salmon for the price. I realized walking in there was a clear vibe because I brought my kids and we left soon after ordering food to go which is too bad because this place is really close to our house

Mid food and mid service. Had higher expectations for this place to only be let down. Food was all so greasy

The food was terrible. The server was not knowledgeable of any items on the menu. The serving staff was good. Ensured plates were cleared and water was filled. Replace your serving staff with this staff. The dishes we received not jsut ok they were disgusting will not come back
