We absolutely loved the food here!!! We ordered a bunch of things that were all delicious but the very favorite starters were the coconut hotcakes on the specials menu and the roti with curry appetizer. I had yellow pumpkin curry with tofu that I could eat every day of my life, and my daughter ate every bite of her pad ke mao. And my uncle adored his grilled pork belly. The Thai iced tea was also one of the best we've had in the states.
Food is great, the chicken satay is pretty darn good, but don’t sit in that weird corner. And I wish the seats were more comfortable. But it’s definitely nice how close it is to the park.

Solid Thai food. Had the duck curry and the crab pad thai. Slight wait for dinner as it was the start of dinner time.

Exactly late
Extremely salty, candied sugary every single dishes. Dangerously unhealthy food. You don't need to be a diabetic to avoid high level of sodium and sugar.

We tried their special steamed snapper wrapped in banana leaf which was pretty good. The corn fritters were okay. Unfortunately they don’t take food allergies seriously. Despite mentioning shellfish allergy and gluten intolerance, kept bringing out the wrong order. The busyness of the restaurant gets to the servers I think. Though overall the final meal was enjoyable and wish they would take better note of food allergies of customers.

We eat on the regular at Marnee Thai or have it delivered. The Pad Thai and Pad Kaprow are the Go To Favorites....All of the dishes we have tried are exceptional....some of the very best Thai Food in San Francisco

I had a great experience at Marnee Thai today! I picked up food a couple nights ago and it was so amazing i needed to go back. As usual it was packed full of people, probably because the food and service is great. I made a mistake and ordered from the wrong location. When I arrived and found out my food was at another the other resteraunt, they called the owner and he called me personally and offered to make my food again at no charge. I was so impressed! I took my food to UCSF where i have been living for the last two weeks and had dinner with my wife. It was exactly how I expected it to be, AMAZING!
I will not forget this great service and food.
THANK YOU Manee Thai!

Portions are small and overpriced. Service was really slow and the waiter urged us to finish even though they were open for another 30 minutes. Restaurant is dark with poor lighting. Just go one more block to Sriracha Thai on 9th and Irvine which has larger portions and is less expensive.

Some of the best thai food i’ve ever had. i’ve been here countless times. the massamun curry and pad see ew are excellent. ask for a side of roti with the massamun curry instead of eating it with rice. Mango sticky rice is also amazing.

I had been wanting to try this location since its opening, and finally got the chance to try it out. I was expecting everything to be the same as the original Marnee Thai; but the experience was somewhat disappointing.
I wasn't too fond of the ambience. It was narrow inside. The dim lighting made the space seem even more narrow. The table surface was small, which made it inconvenient for us to fit the dishes.
The hot Thai tea was just lukewarm, which was totally unfitting for the December weather. The Pad See Ew was good. So were the spinach dishes. The Coconut Stir Fried Noodle was too dry, and could have used more taste. The portion of all the dishes were good, though.
I give a thumbs-up for the courteous customer service.
For those who haven't tried either Marnee Thai locations, this might be a good one to try first.
Parking: There are usually no parking available within 5 blocks radius of the restaurant. Taking the transit or walking would be best.

One of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood! Never have to wait for a table but the inside always feels cozy and lively. Food is delicious and spicy and the portions are huge for the price. Service is quick and friendly. Great casual neighborhood spot.
