I had the pleasure of getting a hot soy Matcha and cookies here this morning. The drink was PERFECTION and the ginger cookies were fantastic. They are super friendly and the staff acts like a warm loving family. No shouting just kindness from staff to staff. The genuine customer care was out of this world. It’s like going to grandmas house for coffee and more. Updated from previous review on 2025-08-30
Extremely hard to find parking and horrible customer service. The cashier completely ignored us and served the people after us in line. Why would we just randomly stand in line if we didn’t need help??
The decent thing to do is to simply ask if a person has been helped yet. Eventually the lady making the drinks asked us so we don’t blame her but the cashier needs training. Would never support this location again.

Ask for Karen, hands down makes the best coffee in the bay area! Don't know what you want? Let her choose a drink for you! Never disappoints. Staff is nice, place is clean, always busy. Good food. Vegan friendly options. Can't go wrong with the service here.

Consistently good coffee and breakfast bagels- that’s what matters most to me :-). Wide selection of pastries. Basic, chill atmosphere with outdoor seating. A true neighborhood institution.

Martha & Brothers (just Martha’s if you’re local :) is one of the best coffee shops in San Francisco. The coffee and espresso is a rich, dark roast blend. We love the family friendly ambiance and the staff is so sweet to our little daughter, she loves visiting Martha’s. The baristas are pro but humble — David is reliable and friendly, Giselle deserves extra special mention for her strong and consistent drinks. If you get your coffee early enough you just might meet Martha…

Love the coffee here! Great coffee/mocha and they also have a nice variety of food items for breakfast including croissants, muffins, scones, donuts, breakfast sandwiches, bagels etc. they have a really nice variety of teas too : ). I really enjoyed this coffee shop! Nicaraguan owned as well - so we had some beautiful Luis Miguel music playing in the background too.

The coffee was ok. My request to have cappuccino in ceramic cup was declined with “we do not this since covid”.
The floor could use sweeping. There is some pile of “stuff” in the sitting area — does not help with the atmosphere.
The food selection is impressive though. I have not tried though the food.

Friendly place with lots of tasty snacks-- warm empanadas and pastries. I like the coffee but wish they carried all the blends they have online.

The coffee was burnt. Service was nice. There were spots to sit down but all the tables were extremely close to one another so it was difficult to have a private conversation without the fear of being overheard by the person next to you.
