Outdoor dining is available! It’s the kind of place where they remember your coffee order. The outdoor seating always has a bowl with water for dogs nearby. It’s a very neighborly feeling place where you can watch people and dogs go by.

Good: lattes, tres leches latte, bagel sandwiches, cakes, bread pudding when they have it, empanadas

Just OK: Croissants and similar pastries

Not so good: drip coffee is vey bitter and sometimes acidic—if you like super dark roasts it might be your cup of coffee

Fantastic sandwiches. The staff is so efficient and polite. I come here at least 2-3 times a week. Always quick. They ran out of the delicious pesto turkey sandwiches right when I arrived. One of the staff offered to make one fresh. She had it ready in 5 minutes.

Kid-friendliness: I don't have kids, but it seems like a safe, comfortable place for them.

Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space for a wheelchair to navigate.

No so friendly staff

Friendly service, tasty and full of ingredients sandwich, well brewed coffee, cozy vibe in the corner of the street. Just go and visit them!)

Really nice people here but the overall experience was extremely disappointing. The organization of ordering / getting your order was not well explained and they didn’t take our names so it was hard to know what was for us. I ordered a nitro cold brew and it was served with ice (which I’ve never seen before) and it tasted extremely sour (like it was stale or something). I usually don’t turn my nose to coffee but this was an exception because it seemed like it might get me sick.

The bagel I got was perfectly fine but nothing special.

Overall this is not a spot I would recommend, I would love to see them get some better organization / quality control / etc because it was pretty disappointing.

The ambiance is amazing, good vibes the minute you walk in. Great menu, the bagel I order was bigger than I expected and it had enough cream cheese, not cheap made. I love their coffee, first time here from out of town. Forget the chain coffee places and support this San Fransisco gem.

At Martha’s they charged $12 for a “sandwich” that was just a french roll with a small amount of avocado, lettuce, tomato slice, and onion. No protein, no meat, no cheese, just that for $12???? They should have charged $5 like they do for a bagel.
