Recently ate at Cafe Mason. My friend and I were seated and the food we ordered came out quickly. Our server, Alejandro was the best. Menu prices, compared to other nearby restaurants, was very budget friendly. The food was tasty and they serve breakfast all day. Limited street parking but, there is a garage right across the street.

A classic diner as you would imagine. We had the Belgian waffles with strawberries and avocado toast, which were excellent. Thanks to our waiter Alex with his open and warm manner, we immediately felt at home despite our jet lag. Clear recommendation!

The hotel where we were staying gave us a coupon for a 20% discount for Cafe Mason. We asked them if they really recommended it and were told the food was excellent, so we figured we'd give it a try. We are so glad we did. The atmosphere was quite comfortable and charming. The food was excellent. We ordered the Crepes Veronica -- a wonderful concoction that we would be happy to order again (among a lot of interesting choices). But what made our experience special was the staff. The gentleman who seated us, the man who rung up our order were friendly, but our waitress, Alejandra, was amazing. She made our experience. Not only did she do a great job taking the order, bringing coffee, making sure all was well with us, but she was so friendly and engaging, that by the time we left we felt like we were family. We simply could not have asked for a better experience from a waitress. Long story short: a really great place for breakfast if one is in the Union Square neighborhood.

Alejandra served us exceptionally at Café Masón. She was very friendly and attentive throughout our visit, as well as giving us excellent food recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed. He also suggested places to visit in the city, which was a great touch that we really appreciated. Their service made our experience unforgettable. We will definitely return!
