Food was overrated and definitely not worth the price. Steak was okay, but lister bisque was a disappointment. Bisque didn't taste as if it had any sherry. Waiter was nice, talked very fast.
Nothing ever changes when we go to our favorite restaurant in San Francisco “ Mastro's “as the food , service and ambiance are always impeccable, if you're ever in the San Francisco area or Bay Area of California period you should definitely checkout Mastro's as the restaurant is one of the BEST in all of the Bay, we love when they have live music as well it just throws in a bonus for all.
Beautiful evening. Fantastic meal. Ribeye was spectacular. Tuna, scallops, asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes—all delicious. Service was wonderful. Nice atmosphere. Only drawback was the noise level. Will definitely return for another meal.
I've always wanted to go to Mastro's and I was not disappointed. It was a wonderful and fantastic experience. From the moment we arrive, through the delicious dinner courses, to leaving the restaurant, we felt like royalty.
Great experiences. Food, service everything on a high level. On top the live music, the singer was amazing.
Food is delicious as usual and service top notch. Live singer also talented and nice atmosphere
food was excellent, service was good as well. was a mob scene, bring your wallet, aint cheap.
Last night was hit or miss. We have eaten at Maestros a few times and it seems not to be very consistent. All of the employees were nice and somewhat on top of their work; to be fair it was prime time Saturday night and they were very busy. Attention to detail is something I appreciate when dining at a fancy restaurant. The restaurant is beautiful but was looking a bit worse for the wear, particularly the women's restroom. What a mess. There was tp everywhere and a wet floor. The food was hit or miss- we splurged on crab legs and they were very soggy though fresh and beautifully presented. The salads for our table were lackluster, ours was watery, as if the lettuce hadn't been dried. The steaks were superb- phenomenally cooked, albeit a tiny bit over seasoned. They really are the main draw. The poivre was not to my taste yet again. I'm a snob about this sauce and make it at home, is there flour in it? If so there shouldn't be. The sides were just okay though well presented. The bread service was excellent yet again! All of our drinks were delicious. Dessert was pretty tasty- we got the butter cake. I'm not sure we will be coming back. We came for a very special occasion and much fell so short I was embarrassed to have brought our oldest friends there. Maybe it was just an off night.
Great dinner experience. The service and food is good. We had the Sea bass grilled with some great sides. Make sure to ask for the sides to be hot!
Always a great time. Friendly hostess that greets you. Beautiful staircase up takes you to the main level dining room not to be forgotten is the upper level dining room. Main bar staff is on point. Edgar Ashley, Monique & Terra. Friendly, professional service. Decided to come here with my friend after trying a local establishment who will remain nameless. Maestros is the place to be because of the consistency in service, value, experience and live music ! Did I mention they also cater to Gluten sensitivities?! Impressive. Brian ( mgmt) always a pleasure. Can't wait to bring new friends who will also become fans.

Great first visit! We had reservations for a birthday dinner and we were invited to our table with a window view. Everyone who served and host was excellent. Drinks, appetizers, main course and dessert were memorable and filling.
Took the wife out for a Date here since my daughter recommended it. Food was ok for the price point. This is more of a I’ve been there place just to say you’ve eaten here instead of I’m there every week. Once seated service was great. But the Male hostess needs to go find a job somewhere else. Rude, and making a joke about how he had a 50-50 shot calling me Jesus after I’ve already checked in with the other hostess is way out of line. If I’m going to spend $400 for 2 it won’t be here. To the management is this ok to you.

Pretty disappointed for a Christmas night dinner. High expectations after dining at their Thousand Oaks location. Caesar in a bag is better, bread was not very good. Carpaccio and steaks were very good, just not the experience we expected for that price level. Will reconsider trying their new South Lake Tahoe location after this. Better steak houses in Reno for sure.
