Sat down and they took our initial order but then dissappeared for 30+ minutes while waiting on other tables in our area. Ignored all attempts to get their attention so we decided to leave. Maybe they were busy that night... our cheesedip was tasty but didn't come with any chips and only 3 small tortillas??

The food was salty, and the service was terrible.
I went alone and sat at a table for two, but the staff told me the table was reserved and guided me outside. They had set up makeshift seating on the sidewalk, with buses passing right next to the table. While eating, I observed the restaurant and noticed that the table I had been sitting at remained empty for quite a while. I couldn’t help but feel like I was being discriminated against because I’m Asian, similar to how Black people were segregated in restaurants and buses in the past. It was extremely unpleasant.

Go only during Happy Hour to fulfill your hunger. The food is edible but the salsa has no kick. I feel that the owner or chefs are afraid to add jalapeño or serrano peppers to their salsas. Also, the waiter did not know what kind of salsa it was. If the owner is reading this, go back to your Mexican roots and taste your food. This is an embarrassment.
My honest opinion, I wanted to throw up my food, go to the nearest pub, take a shot of Mezcal to wash it down and order a burger. Literally I felt disappointed and embarrassed.
BUT the tortillas are great. 10/10 ?
Carnitas 8/10 I suggest u order this on its own
Chips y Salsa 3/10 weird tomato cheese sauce
Flautas 6/10 lack of seasoning and not enough chicken filling
Tortillas 10/10 I don’t mind ordering a packet to take home.

the tacos were really small! So at least order the 3 if you're hungry. The description also fit in my opinion. not what was on my plate. The burrito, on the other hand, was very good, a reasonable size and corresponded to the description on the menu. overall rather expensive ($80 for 2 p.) - but that could also be because I haven't yet adjusted my price feeling for San Francisco.

Probably the best food for the best price in the nearby area. Service was awesome ... and much better than more expensive restaurants in the area

I don’t know why the reviews are so high. Perhaps we ordered the wrong food.
Customer service was acceptable and friendly. The restaurant is very pleasant and clean. Simple but very elegant. Prices were okay.
The appetizers (nachos and guac) were really good and really brought our hopes up. However the mains were mid at best. Everything was just lacking in flavor and texture. The burrito was very mushy (might have been my mistake by ordering ground beef). Fajitas were okay, however still lacking in flavor. Sides were also bland. The biggest errors were that the corn tortillas were very soggy and not toasted correctly and that the cabbage served with the fajitas wasn’t cleaned properly (had sand in teeth) and was wilted by the heat of the dish.
All in all I was a bit disappointed. I think correcting the errors, throwing a bit more spice into the dishes and maybe offering salsa to boost the flavor of the dishes would go a long way.

Best food we had in San Fran! Wow! Amazing, tasty and well presented. Also a great price. Anyone who likes Mexican food should really give this place a go. I can't believe how good the food was. They also have a happy hour menu from 2pm to 5pm each day. We made the most of this and got $5 margaritas (which were also fabulous!). Highly Highly recommend ?
Wheelchair accessibility: Inside and outside seating is wheelchair accessible. Bathroom is also for disabled use

Quite honestly, it's the best burrito I've ever tasted. Would highly recommend having the sauce to go over the burrito. My only regret is that I couldn't finish it as there was so much! However, there is the option to have the leftovers boxed, which is great.
