The matcha float with tapioca was delicious and the lady who was working was very kind. As I am not a matcha expert I cannot comment on the quality of the matcha however it fulfilled my matcha craving. Great little pick me up when in SF

Really good service and ice cream. Their ice cream choices and menu choices have a lot of really good options and are super tasty. There’s always a line out the door at this place tho because they are well known for the matcha quality and the good ice cream and lattes. They are pretty fast service too.

THE dessert place in Japantown SF! Matcha cafe maiko offers quality and variety. Soft serves, sundaes, boba, lattes and teas you name it. Make sure to save room for dessert because these treats are quite filling. I've tried their drinks (definitely good with THIS quality of matcha) and their soft serve. - Matcha Soft Serve $6.40 - 5/5 the classic! Honestly I have no other reason to try anything else when I come here. The matcha is rich, earthy in flavor, bright in color and the ice cream base is not very sweet. The fresh waffle cones you can smell as you wait in line and it's heavenly. It's borderline indescribable so you'll have to try it for yourself!
