This is a solid neighborhood coffee spot with good food options. I was in town for a several days and tried Matching Half along with a few other coffee spots in the area (Sightglass, The Mill, Bean Bag Cafe) and it was my favorite. Their Americano is excellent and the ambiance is cozy. They have wifi (Sightglass does not, for comparison) and it's a good spot with both indoor/outdoor options to post up and answer a few emails.
I received a bagel that was so rock hard - I could not eat it. When I asked for it to be remade I received another rock hard bagel impossible to bite into you. The coffee was good but place should not be serving stale items.
Been visiting this place since moved to sf and it never disappoints. Coffee is great.
Also the staff is so amazing (shot out to nick i think?) there was a 20$ bill on the floor while I was ordering and he asked me if it was mine (it wasn’t ) and when I proceeded to pay he said all set! Such a kind gesture made my day :)
