I really enjoyed my food, but I do feel like it is very expensive for what it is. The flavor was good, I wish it was a bit more spicy though! I definitely recommend it because it is hard to find many Korean places with good vegan options.

Delicious Soft Tofu Bowl at Matko. Tofu was soft but held together remarkably well and there was a good amount of it. Got a few sauces and base of half spinach / half rice. Double order of kimchi as well. Great mix of flavors.
Love that the menu is really well marked with vegan items. So clear. Order from iPad type kiosk at counter. Easy. Small interior with not too much seating but comfortable inside. Great spot, would recommend. Look forward to trying other vegan items.

The food was fantastic and the service was also great. However, the first time I wanted to go with a friend I saw a police inside and the second time after I ordered there were flashing lights outside and the police on his phone. We don't want to go to restaurants that are friends with the police. Support unhoused neighbors.

Very average Korean food. Flavors are bland and Americanized. Fine if you need a meal in a pinch but not an authentic Korean restaurant by any means. Spicy dishes weren’t spicy. Don’t get the tofu soup, it will let you down. Beef bulgogi was decent.

I haven’t had an unsatisfying experience eating food out in a long time. These reviews do not reflect the current quality of their food. I got the spicy chicken and my partner got the bulgogi beef, we both agreed it lacked flavor and texture of true Korean grilled/bbq meat. This felt like a waste of money to me so I highly suggest you save yours on this place. Seems to me like they’re trying to maximize profits with lazy cooking.
Great service, tasty korean doshirak style meal, and yummy limited time Banana's coffee latte - cant complain whatsoever ! Service was prompt and the resto reminded me of those type of diners in korea, absolutely loved !

They insist on yelling order numbers inside even though a large chunk of their seating is outside. Which is fine... just means we need to wait inside.
They lost the order from someone in my group. The lady at the register (the owner?) needed to be reminded multiple times to look for it.
After they finally made the order, it got handed to a random person. I had to ask again before they realized the error.
