Honestly a decent quick breakfast from the airport - scrambled eggs were warm, bread was buttered, bacon was cooked well, and fruit was fresh - all for a reasonable price.

Regrettably, Max's has not gotten back to me after several attempts to contact them over the past three weeks, so I'm posting this as a warning to others. I ordered a cheese-filled pastry to go before boarding my flight. Halfway through, I noticed the color and texture weren't quite right. Fuzzy and aquamarine aren't qualities I normally look for in dairy products. Yes, this thing was just crawling with mold. Having no time to go back before my flight, I couldn't do anything at the time, but I tried reaching out to the airport and business directly. Despite that, I'm still five dollars poorer and a little more skittish about baked goods than I used to be. Why two stars? Well, the mold didn't taste bad and didn't make me sick either - and the bottled diet coke was on point.

I shouldn’t complain because I knew what I was getting into, but when my family of four ended up paying $77 for 3 sandwiches and a breakfast burrito, I couldn’t believe it. It’s an airport right? But come on!

Best salads at SFO. Healthiest foods. Always freshest. My regular stop at SFO. Best low carb food here.

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering a "breakfast burrito." It was not a burrito in any sense of the word. It was on a green tortilla and had cold eggs, potatoes, and sausage. No veggies, no avocado, no salsa. Oh- and no shredded cheese- they used slices of cheese!!! And it was over 11 dollars. #SFO should kick them out- it's not worthy of being in terminal 3, which is now rather nice. I agree with others in customer service, too- I had to beG to pay for my overpriced burrito that was essentially just a wrap with eggs. Why not just list it as a breakfast wrap?

Ordered two breakfast bagel sandwiches and I'm very happy. Food was good, the service was nice. Prices were expensive, but that's what you get eating in an airport. The bagel sandwiches were big enough to split between two people easily.

I had a egg and cheese on croissant here this morning and it was sub-par. I think the croissant was stale, as when it was toasted, it turned really hard, and not softer on the inside as it warmed up. The cashier was also a bit rude. When the server made the sandwich, she yelled at him "what is this?" instead of maybe asking nicely or listening the first time. Overall, not a great experience, and will try somewhere else next time!

We had not been here in some time. Wanted deli food near our home so came. Mistake. Food was tasteless at best. Where there was taste ----not good or fresh. Expensive and we had to send one item back. Would suggest not coming here. It is a shame since it was a great deli about a decade ago----ownership changed to the next generation and something (or a number of things) have gone wrong.

Overpriced but no complains you are at airport, my complain is on staff’s behavior, feels like they don’t care. I typically have my breakfast here at times when I am in rush. Suggestion: open step in to order if there are just a few folks, else service time is lot more compare to quality.

Horrible service. Horrible food. Do not eat here. Workers are rude and food is dry and tasteless. Urban Tortilla and Klein's Deli is right around the corner.

We had Max's corn beef Reuben. It was very good. Grilled fresh in front of you; piled high with tasty corn beef on NY eye. People serving were very nice. For an airport it was awesome; and priced reasonably. Only downside is they don't have there own tables, but we found "community" tables a few steps away.

I can't tell you how the food was because my wife and I had our invisibility super power going and the people working there couldn't see us even though we were the only two people in line pressed against the counter looking directly at the staff. Or, maybe the service is so poor, that is we were the only people in line. After three to five minutes with no acknowledgement, we walked away.

Have eaten here a zillion times (Pastrami!). Unfortunately today (Aug 1), a person I haven't seen before was behind the counter quite rudely telling the guy who has made my sandwich a ton of times how "sick of it" he is and speaking to the employee in a very demeaning manner. Love the food but Mr Rude Boss needs to go before the employees all jump ship to get away from him.

Not bad food. A bit slow service. Not worth the $$

Go to Klein's instead. The service was terrible, long and the guy looked offended that I was ordering something. Really awful experience.
