May Lee Chinese Restaurant

I ordered for pick up, soy sauce was in the bag but when I asked for soy sauce and chili or spice I noticed attitude from one of the workers, I got one packet of soy sauce and two small chili containers for a order of soup and a order of chow mein, I then went to my car and realized I didn’t have utensils I walked back and again the same worker had attitude because I asked for utensils, chow mein was really good wonton soup was supposed to be combination but it only came with two pieces of shrimp and some pieces of chicken. Wasn’t bad tasting but it wasn’t the best either

I chose to have food delivered from this restaurant because I love Chinese food and the food here was super duper delicious. The orange chicken was perfectly cooked and the fried rice really hit the spot for me. I unfortunately couldn’t finish my food because I was bursting at the seams eating this food. I highly recommend this place. 5 stars all around

My partner and I passed by this place and were craving Chinese food. I’m so glad we tried it because the food was super flavorful and the portion sizes were very big. We both loved how much protein and vegetables came with each dish! We ordered the Combo Fried Rice, Salt and Pepper Pork, and Hunan Chicken. We couldn’t decide which one was our favorite dish because they were so good. The Huanan chicken has a small hint of spice with tons of sauce. The salt and pepper pork was crunchy on the outside yet juicy on the inside. The service was super sweet and very attentive. Overall a 11/10 experience! We will definitely be back to this restaurant again!

I usually get the Mongolian beef plate with bbq pork fried rice and a hot and sour soup and I have to say, the utter consistency, and flavorfulness is so tasty and comforting. A gem not to be passed up. My comfort food truly.

We enjoy eating at family business while on vacation. What a hidden gem. It’s worth the drive and you won’t be disappointed. Family members run this with passion. Food was excellent and rich in flavor. Highly recommend.

My family and I were at San Francisco for a volleyball tournament. We were visiting from El Paso TX. We’re huge fans of the Asian cuisine and we were looking for that hole in the wall that wouldn’t disappoint. Using this platform, May Lee came up and we decided to give it a try as we were wondering and venturing around the city. As we arrived, we did spend about few minutes to find a parking spot due to the surrounding neighborhood but it didn’t take long before we found a spot and parked. Sure enough, we went to May Lee and the service, atmosphere, and food DID NOT disappoint. Great service, very private (it was the perfect lunch scenario), and the food…OMG! Everything was delicious! We order 6 different plates with a combination of dumplings and everything was GONE. Great taste, authentic, the different sabor of delicious combinations as soon as it connected with the palette. We were very pleased and content with everything May Lee has to offer. Definitely a must go if you’re a local in the San Francisco area or if you’re visiting from out of town and if you’re a fan or love Asian cuisine, May Lee is your place. 10/10 and two thumbs up.

I’ve lived in SF for 10 years and this is now my favorite Chinese restaurant in the entire city. Very authentic. Will be coming back many more times. The basil beef and orange chicken were so well cooked and the quality of ingredients is very apparent. So Delicious!! The service and owners are so sweet too.

Love their plant based options. So glad I have the option to eat Chinese comfort that is vegetarian.
The vegetables in their dishes are clean, fresh, and cooked perfectly. I am always greeted with a smile and feel welcomed when I go in to pick up food.
