I judge any sandwich joint by the way they deliver an Italian sub. This did not disappoint. It was chock full of cold cuts and the bread was fresh and chewy without being so hard that it exploded when you took a bite like so many do. We also got a chicken pesto and that was yummy too. The dutch crunch on that was one of the best I've ever had.
I suggest ordering ahead as the line and waiting was about 30 minutes at lunch time.
Bonus point for having tables...

Best deli in all of sf, hidden gem. Most popular are Giants, Stoner, Hella Gouda, Joe’s Special, 49er, and the Tanner. Breakfast burritos are amazing. Cannot say enough good things, highly recommend!

Picked up Hairlip Louie and his little Juicy Squeeze Ling Lee up on Baker street, and we're heading to Alamo Square for the Naked Lawn Darts Tournament preliminaries.
