Mel’s Drive In has always been my go to breakfast spot in San Francisco on Geary. I’ve been going here since the 1990’s and it has never disappointed me. My food was delicious and waitress provided awesome service. They even came and cleaned the table immediately when I was finished eating.

Parking: I was able to park directly in the front parking lot on Geary.

Typical American place with all kinds of dishes. We had a Mels burger + a Short Rin grille cheese sandwich for dinner. The burger was very good but the sandwich with the meat was very tender and juicy. The service was performed by David and Brian. David advised us at all times and made our dinner comfortable since he speaks several languages. Brian served the drinks and always has your glass of water full. Without a doubt if I return to San Francisco I will return to this place....
