I love this place. The vibe is spot on, feels a little like NYC dining. Great music and lighting, and the servers are personable and energetic. The food is top notch and not overpriced. And the drinks! Had the White Lotus and then had to have another. Will keep coming back!!!
This is a great space to enjoy the company of friends, your partner or yourself! The owners are there helping the staff and are so courteous and friendly. They make you feel at home. They take pride in their work and their business. The food was delicious and the attention to detail was on point. I appreciated them welcoming me back as they recognized me from a previous visit. I will definitely be going back soon!
What a wonderful surprise, to have in my own neighborhood such a fantastic and heartwarming restaurant. The attention to detail by the owners is incredible and the flavors are phenomenal. Starting with the nice relaxed decor, meeting the chef, mixologist and owner and then the cocktails... wow! Very well balanced and unique. We had the millionaire tacos, please order them! Then the little gem salad, very refreshing and the moqueca ( brazilian fish stew) was perfect! The chocolate ganache is excellent, great coffee service and we ended with a complementary dessert mini cocktail. I'll be back for more!!
Great service from a friendly staff. Drinks were also unique and delicious. Food was just ok and the lighting was not good for date nights. Felt like more of a nice lunch spot.
We celebrated our anniversary at Memento and had an absolutely outstanding experience! Rafael, the owner, personally served us all evening and made us feel like VIPs with thoughtful touches including an anniversary card at our table and complimentary glass of champagne. The atmosphere is casual elegant with beautiful artwork throughout that creates an intimate, special setting. The cocktails were exceptional - Defying Gravity (jalapeño infused tequila with passion fruit) was nicely balanced with a kick of spice. Island In The Sun was revolutionary with its transparent appearance and piña colada flavors enhanced by thyme. Rafael explained their 4-day infusion process for this drink which shows incredible attention to craft. We ordered small plates to sample more options and were blown away. The coconut curry sauce for the mussels was extraordinary and the taste had incredible depth. The truffle fries were crispy and the aioli dipping sauce was delicious. The fried beef empanadas had excellent flavor and texture, and the Millionaire Beef Tacos, featuring beef tenderloin stacked on blue corn tortillas, were mouthwatering. The meatball stroganoff in its creamy parmesan sauce was also very good. Dessert was phenomenal - their flan is the best I've ever had with thick custard texture and rich caramel and the Passion Fruit Mousse, soft creamy texture with enough passionfruit flavor, was refreshing. Rafael surprised us with complimentary New York cheesecake for our anniversary that was absolutely perfect. His dessert wine recommendation paired well with all the desserts. Every dish was garnished with small pansies from their own backyard, showing wonderful attention to detail. The combination of creative cocktails, exceptional hospitality, beautiful presentation, and outstanding food makes Memento perfect for special occasions. We're already planning our return and will enthusiastically recommend to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.
My experience was horrible. I intentionally ordered my main dish first and then I ordered the truffle fries. When the truffle fries came out they were Burt and had the taste of burnt fries so I requested for a new batch. I ordered 2 drinks as I patiently waited for my main dish, finished both of them with the new fries. I went to the restroom and when I came back my check was waiting for me instead. Very insulting to say the least. Thank you for the dining experience I would never come back or recommend.
Outstanding food. Super friendly and knowledgable staff. A great addition to the neighborhood. Will definitely come back.
10/10. We had the most annoying dietary restrictions and they were SO accommodating and nice. The food was so yummy and fresh. Salmon was amazing.
This restaurant is wonderful. They were able to accommodate my seed oil allergy and the food was delicious. They were even able to cook my truffle fries without seed oils! The owner is very kind as well.
The fusion menu offers something for everyone, and the variety of small plates we had was really satisfying. It's pricey, though, and the noise level is intense if there are a couple of groups in. We had excellent service.

The Green Dragon cocktail was smoothe and delicious. We ordered empanadas, flat bread for starters, salmon, steak and burger for dinner! chefs kiss to all the food!
Really enjoyed our visit. I am a big fan of happy hour appetizers and drinks. Bonus for having tasty vegan dishes. Yummy cocktails, especially the Berry Me. Looking forward to coming again!
Dinner with friends on a Saturday night. Reservation handled perfectly by OpenTable. Three shared plates, two entrees, and a bottle of Nebiolo, plus two desserts fed four hungry people very well. Those are the plain facts. Now the five-star parts. If you go out to eat hoping to excite your taste buds with masterful flavor combinations perfectly executed, you MUST try Memento SF. You will not be disappointed. We exhausted our supply of superlatives. I am not easy to please, but I only write reviews when I am astonished, and on this night I asked our waiter (himself, perfect) to tell the chef that our meal was spectacular. Shoshido peppers were delicious; flatbread, mussels, and couscous were unbelievable, and our spoons were like swords battling for bites of the caramel flan and the passion fruit mousse. $75-$85 per person. Not a cheap date, but if you want your night out to be special on all the dimensions that really matter (food, service, drink and vibe), you cannot go wrong with Memento SF.
Amazing restaurant all around! Loved the service, food was delicious - especially the pasta with truffle and bacon - and over the modern decor.
Alfred is amazing as a waiter, food was great. Love this area of SF, 100% awesome!
