Asked to join their waitlist with a large party and was told it would be a 45 minute wait and over an hour and a half later had to call back only for them to say that we wouldn’t be able to get in. Unfortunately, within that time nearly all restaurants in the area closed for the evening. Huge bummer and just not great service to not give us an update.

Drinks and food is ok but our evening as ruined by the lady/floor manager. They “mistakenly” charged us the beer for the next table, then removed it but the price increased somehow. I’ve been there several times as I live around the block and the waiter with tattoos is always very good but this time there was the rudest lady I’ve met ever. She was rude to us, rude to the staff… I’ll never go back until she works there.

When you haven’t been served for 30 minutes, you’re one of only five tables, AND it takes a different table to flag down a server for you…you’re going to have a bad time. Bonus points to the server who looked directly at us, gave us a dirty look, and walked away. You know it’s bad when one of the servers asked you not to write a bad yelp review. This place has a great vibe and the waiter was extremely kind and attentive. Food was good, some dishes better than the others, we had the scallop tostada that was very flavorful. They also have everyday happy hour with great deals ($10 for a burger)

Love it. Accidentally walked in during happy hour. The happy hour here is real deal. The $10 burger is super delicious it's juicy and tasty. $10 taco is delicious. Can't believe it. I want to come here every day.

There is a really great atmosphere at Mezcalito in San Francisco! It is a trendy Mexican restaurant with hip music and friendly service. Food fantastically delicious. Lots of choice on the menu for both drinks (including cocktails) and food.
Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian dishes to choose from.
Parking: There is paid parking almost everywhere in San Francisco. Mezcalito is located on a main road. Parking is not easy. It's better to take an Uber, Waymo, bike or walk.

Overall great! I tried a bunch of cocktails and they were all very well put together. I tried their main burger, and it very tasty, definitely recommend it.
Minus one because we felt pressure to drink and eat quickly the entire time we were there. I don’t know where we had the bill in our table, even though we continue to order more cocktails after that. Did not appreciate how the staff made us feel
