We ordered take out. Some of the best ramen in this area. It traveled well and was still warm when it arrived.

Tried Miki Japanese on Balboa and it was a good experience. Friendly staff and efficient service along with a casual ambiance. The chirashi bowl had fresh fish with seasoned rice, nicely portioned and balanced. The salmon teriyaki and mixed tempura bento was also solid — the salmon was cooked well with a flavorful glaze, and the tempura was crisp without being oily. The bento sides rounded out the meal well. Overall, a good spot for Japanese food in the neighborhood.

Great little spot in the Richmond. The ramen was really good and the sushi was like a 4/5. Would highly recommend. They only have about 5 tables so come early !

I used to really enjoy this restaurant, but my recent experience left me disappointed. The dishes just didn’t taste the same. The ramen, which was once a favorite, had changed, and the pork didn’t taste fresh. The katsu was soggy, and the rice was overly vinegary. The tempura was decent, but overall, the meal didn’t meet the standard I remember. Spending $80 for three people, we walked away feeling let down. I hope they can bring back the quality that once made this place special.

Ordered shrimp tempura soba combo. It was salty water with overcooked noodles and a bit of green onion. The shrimp tempura? A single shrimp among some tempura veggies. Also got an unagi roll and to be honest, could be fresher. Utterly disappointing.
I don't understand why anyone would open a restaurant and then serve food that obviously has zero thought or passion put into it. I'd be ashamed of serving this in my home.

Very good food in a charming place.I enjoyed all the food that was served to me from the starters to the main dishes.Even small regular starters like the Edamame were really really good and tasty. I also loved the fried chicken starter, served with a nice mayonnaise dressing on the side. The ramen itself was also very good.Everything was served in big portions, which we weren’t able to finish. The service was good, as the waiters were particularly helpful with our requests to replace ingredients with others that were not on the menu.

So delicious! Got the agedashi tofu (stir fried tofu) and tonkatsu ramen. My friend got the cherry blossom roll and it was just beautiful.
