Mili Wine Bar in the Financial District has a really cool, stylish vibe that immediately draws you in. The space feels thoughtfully designed, balancing modern touches with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy your time.

One of the standout features for me was their non-alcoholic options, which I thought was amazing. It’s refreshing to see a wine bar offer thoughtfully curated alternatives, making the space feel inclusive and considerate for everyone, not just wine drinkers.

The atmosphere is fun and cozy, with an intimate energy that works well for both casual catch-ups and more intentional evenings out. It’s lively without being overwhelming, and the setting encourages conversation and connection.

Service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. The staff made the space feel approachable and easygoing, which really complemented the vibe of the bar.

Overall, Mili Wine Bar is a great spot in the Financial District with a unique offering, a warm atmosphere, and a cool, inviting energy. Definitely a place worth checking out if you’re looking for something a little different and thoughtfully done.

Not sure about this place. Had one of their less expensive (and frankly not awesome) glass of white wine for nearly $20. Came with a little cork in it, but tasted ok. Decor was fine. Food looked pedestrian. No view as far as I could tell!

Mili Wine Bar is a really great spot right off of the Embarcadero!

They have many different kinds of wine and John and his team are very knowledgeable. They also have small bites! This is a great spot for a date night or your next event.

What a lovely little gem nestled in South Beach—not to mention the absolutely stunning sunset view of the Bay Bridge.

Since it opened, my wife and I have visited for date nights. More recently, we hosted our wedding welcome party here. John and his team did a wonderful job hosting our friends and family, and the curated selection of delicious wines was the perfect touch.

Highly recommend for a date night, casual meet-ups with coworkers, or your next event!

Good selection of wines. I had an excellent Sauvignon Blanc from Russian River Valley. The food menu is a bit limited, and the charcuterie board with cheeses was just ok. Ambiance is relaxed and not too loud for conversations

When we arrived, my friend—who had gotten there earlier—told me they no longer serve food. I wasn’t sure if that included items like the cheese plate, so I asked the host to confirm. His response was, “Oh, your friend didn’t tell you?” I replied that she had, but I just wanted to double-check. He then said, “Oh, you don’t trust her?”

I found this comment completely inappropriate. A simple, professional response such as, “Yes, we no longer serve any food, including snacks,” would have been sufficient. The experience left a very negative impression, and I will not be returning ever again. This is my third time here. But super disappointed.

Very poor service. The manager John is arrogant and shows absolutely no respect to customers. AVOID this place if you want to have an enjoyable dinning experience.

Mili wine bar has been my fav place until today. I’ve been here countless times after work and pickle ball sessions for the past 4 years, so I decided to do my birthday here today.

I was made a clown by the manager John in front of my friends by using demeaning words like “sneak around” “get out of restaurant” by sharing my birthday cake and pie. I let my husband to ask for external food price before I shared my birthday cake and pie. Granted that we didn’t “ask” for the service right away because we wanted to do self service, but why would I know it’s 7 dollars per person if I wanted to “sneak around” and why would I “alert” the manager and got caught “sneaking around” 1 min before I did it? Am I an idiot and/or don’t I deserve some basic decent inquiry?

Some info here, we ordered every side dish on the menu so the $35 cake price is nothing. I can’t fathom out why John decided to be derogatory to me on the spot without any politeness and asking first, before ruining my birthday. He even said “you didn’t even ask if you can bring in outside food” well that’s because he said it first thing when we walked it and we said we are celebrating birthday here with a cake.

If Mili wine bar decides to position itself as a high class & high horse place with extractive value proposition and no caring for customers who like it, I think it’s detrimental to its branding as a community hang-out place in the Rincon hill area. Yes we all need to beg to come eat and drink at Mini wine bar. We are not worthy of your service and food. All the 6 people on my birthday table live a few steps away, and we will never come back to this place again.

I will miss the small plates and late night convos here, but this experience has forever ruined my impression of this good spot.

Love this place! Great wine selection, friendly staff, and love that we're drinking wines out of a Gabriel Glas! I also appreciate the story behind this bar as well.

I really wanted to love it! We live close by and I believe this type of bars can bring life to the neighborhood at night. Unfortunately, I ended up being really disappointed with the service. We came, and had a total of 2 wine glasses. We didn’t leave a 25% tip but I believe it was more than reasonable what was left. When the waitress saw our tip got disappointed, changed her behavior with us and didn’t even said good bye to us or answered back to us.
