I ordered a mission cheesesteak, and it was $14 and it was very good. The staff were very nice and quick. I got my order in 4 minutes. The interior was also quite modern and the place felt comfortably.

This review is for a takeout/office catering order so I can’t speak to the vibe, but the staff here are so kind and accommodating and the food was great. I have celiac so I was nervous when my office chose a sandwich spot for a catered lunch, but when I called mission picnic they assured me they could make my sandwich on gluten free bread and would follow appropriate procedures to prevent cross contamination. My sandwich came packed in a separate bag apart from the items with gluten and was marked “gluten free” in multiple places. I felt really safe and the sandwich was great!

Really awesome place. Staff was friendly and remembered me during several visits while I was working locally. They also supported me with gluten free bread which is really appreciated. Sandwiches were super delicious. Definitely recommend.

Got invited to a sandwich today and I couldn’t thank him enough. We went halves on the BLT and the San Franciscan sandwiches. They were just the right size - not too big for my hands and to bite, but big enough to keep my hunger satisfied. The guacamole had a kick to it and the bacon had a soft crunch. Staff is wonderfully delightful too. Had a great time enjoying my meal and company…

I placed a catering order for a work event through Mission Picnic and let me tell you, they were SO EASY TO WORK WITH. They were patient and answered all of my questions, and were easy to get in contact with and super responsive.
The food was delivered on time, and the warm items were still warm. The cold items were also still cold.. We ordered a variety of sandwiches, sides, empanadas and drinks. Nothing was missing from our order. And the food was delicious.
If I ever need to cater sandwiches on the peninsula, I will be coming here again.

The service was amazing, the restaurant is clean and inviting. I had the Philly Cheese and my sis had the cranturkey and they both were delicious. The meat is fresh and well baked and the bread is amazing. Will definitely be back!
