San Francisco is home to many unique cafés and dining spots, and Mission Provisions easily makes my top ten list. My go-to breakfast is the vegetarian frittata, served with a tossed green salad. The frittata is fluffy, packed with fresh vegetables, and full of flavor. The accompanying salad features a simple mix of fresh greens that complements the dish perfectly.
The dining room is cozy, with small tables suited for pairs rather than large groups, which adds to its intimate charm. The café also offers a great selection of coffee and specialty drinks, including matcha and lattes.

I'm thankful for this restaurant being so close to where I work. Prices are too steep to make this a regular choice ($14 for a croissant breakfast sandwich), even after discounts, but the quality is there and food is good. I'll note that they request a tip via the POS system, even though it's walkup style ordering.

Just found this hidden gem and I’m already hooked! Breakfast is always great—especially the pastries. I’m obsessed with the raspberry Paris-Brest and lemon poppyseed loaf it’s hands down my favorites. Grab one with a cup of their Illy coffee (love that they use Illy!) and it’s the perfect start to the day.
Lunch is just as good. I usually go for the Caesar salad with chicken and the pizza al taglio—Forestière is my go-to. Everything’s super fresh and flavorful.
The vibe is super chill and welcoming, and the staff is always really friendly, which makes the place even better.
Definitely one of my new favorite spots in the area!
