Mission Rock Resort Reviews
Haven’t been in years and boy howdy! It’s upgraded and then some. It’s not as divey as it used to be, but what’s here now is pretty cool! More places to hang (upstairs and down) with more views. The menu is expanded but still simple, good cocktails. The food has definitely improved a couple of levels and the prices are great for what you get. Awesome, friendly staff that wants you to have a great time!
Fun sunny indoor/outdoor hang out with good food, drinks, bay view on the water in the warm side of SF. The occasional hula band certainly adds to the friendly ambiance, but the staff is always there to make sure everyone has a great time. Dog friendly!
I remember the “old “ Mission Rock Resort…and I love the new version as much!!! Great food, great service (thanks Zach) and fabulous looking out to the bay ❤️ I’ll be back soon!!!

Mission Rock Resort offers friendly customer service whether guests dress up or down. The seafood is tasty, with a view of ships sailing in the bay. The lower floor is a cafe with outside seating by the water, creating a quieter atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful view, especially when dining outside at night with the glow of the lights on the water. The restaurant features popular items like the crab roll and burger, served with crispy fries and fresh salad. The menu is also vegetarian friendly and offers helpful staff, making it a good choice for families and those with wheelchair accessibility. Many guests praise the fresh oysters, which are some of the best they've had, full of flavor and well prepared. The waterfront location provides a relaxing setting where visitors can watch boats come in and out while they eat. While the views and service are excellent, some find that the quality to price ratio could be better. The restaurant's location by Mission Bay gives it great potential, especially for seafood, salads, and small appetizer plates, along with a variety of drinks. Parking can be busy during big events like the Blue Angels airshow or Warriors game, but overall, it remains a popular spot for enjoying good food with good company and a lovely view.
