Fresh, delicious oysters! Very clean and quiet. The crab in sauce was—unfortunately—crushed (it’s better on Castro), but the service was pleasant and fast.

Been coming here for 10 years. It somehow remains somewhat undiscovered. Everything about it rocks. My MO is extremely fresh oysters and the avocado crab salad before heading to the Chapel for punk rock

Service was good. Food portions were small on huge plates. My shellfish dish tasted good but very small shellfish & watery and not enough for an entree to feel full. It would've been better if it came with bread to soak up some sauce. The steak had no taste unless dipped into A1 sauce. Crab cake would've tasted better if there was less of other ingredients than crab meat because they overpowered the taste of the crab, especially it's now crab season.
Food was delicious, service was great, this place was open even with a power outage in most of the city. We ordered the Kumamoto oysters and the oyster/clam sampler combo. I'm so happy to get to try the clams in that sauce, and to dip it with the cheesy garlic bread?! Yumm!! We also ordered the calamari which was nice and crispy, fried oysters, crab cakes were delicious. The star of the show was definitely the crab salad, everyone at the table was complimenting it! The main courses were pretty good too the special pesto halibut was good, the fish and chips were delicious, the crab pasta with roasted garlic sauce and cioppino did not disappoint. Overall everything was good!
First time here, I was hasted to order the oysters. Ordered a dozen to try and then ordered another dozen. Love their Oysters- so fresh!
Oysters were super fresh, and they had an all-day happy hour on Sunday. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of.

Stopped in for their all day happy hour.
We ordered 3 of their “premium” oysters - $3.50 each. We enjoyed the Kumamoto oysters the best, but the other two were tasty and fresh.
Service was quick and friendly.

I wanted to eat oysters for dinner by myself, so I went to this restaurant, which is two stations away from the hotel.
Mission Street doesn't have a very good atmosphere at night.
I arrived at the restaurant around 8 o'clock and it was very empty, so I thought it might be okay, but the food was delicious!
I ordered a half Mission Special (oyster + clams, steamed shrimp), garlic bread, and a glass of wine.
It's delicious to dip the garlic bread in the clam soup.
I couldn't finish the garlic bread, so I took it home.
Next time I'd like to try the cioppino. (It seemed too much for one person, so I gave up.)
It was a good value restaurant, costing about $60 in total.

This seafood restaurant is very similar to Anchor Oyster Bar, but without the wait. I had oysters and the halibut special, and both were fresh and delicious.
