Nice little spot with friendly service and fresh seafood. The Summerset oyster shooter in particular was delicious. Only critique is their clam chowder was runny, with not much flavor and very few clams. Other than that, I’d definitely recommend this place!

Came for a friend’s birthday for the first time and was not disappointed! Plenty of options on their menu and we started with oysters which they had a good selection of and ordered a cioppino since I’m a huge fan of this dish in the Bay Area! Eyes were probably bigger than my stomach since this dish could’ve easily been for two people but I decided to tackle it solo. Great flavors and the garlic bread on top was a nice touch and gives you something to dip and take in all the flavor. Will definitely be back when I have the chance!

Great little place on mission street, with a equally great happy hour menu for oysters in a half shell.Parking: Had to drive around the block after times. Better to just catch the bus. The 14 practically stops right in front

I had lots of oysters they were very good I enjoyed myself this night until I went home to check my card and see that I had an extra card the very next day and this was the only place that I use my card at so I contact my bank they stop the transaction and refund me my money back so I suggest if you go here to pay cash could not use your credit card by your bank card as a debit

I had no clue what to expect when picking this restaurant. I wanted seafood in the Mission so Mission Street Oyster Bar sounded perfect! There weren't many other people dining so I was very pleased with the attentive staff and service, but let's keep it honest, if I received anything less I might've thrown a fit. I was very pleasantly surprised at how good and fresh and light the oysters were. And my shrimp fettuccine pasta was excellent! I'm already ready to go back.

Highly recommend!! Our server was great. Really nice, patient, attentive but not annoying. I think his name is Romenio? (Sorry)They have all day happy hour (not the best happy hour pricing but it's better than paying full price). Our favorite oysters were the Miyagi and Beausoleil. The cioppino was to die for, I recommend getting extra bread (it's cheesy and seasoned). We also got the shrimp scampi entree but the sauce was extremely light so we couldn't taste much eating with the flavorful Cioppino.I usually take lots of pictures but I forgot this time. Sorry guys!

Happy hour all day. They have premium for $3.50 and happy hour oysters for $2.50.

We started out with oysters, of course, and they were all amazing! We had 2 of each for happy hour and thoroughly enjoyed them. Next we had the “leche de tigre”. It was absolutely delicious! So fresh and flavorful! All the meals coming out of the kitchen looked amazing! Definitely we will go back!! It was an awesome place!

Whenever I visit San Francisco, I'm filled with anticipation to devour some delectable oysters. Among the many varieties from Washington and British Columbia, the kumomotos oysters truly stand out. The local Miyagi oysters, on the other hand, are somewhat average. However, I absolutely love the black mussels since they make up for not having the green lip variety, and they taste fantastic too. The sauce accompanying the seafood is exceptionally flavorful, especially when dipped with bread. We relished every last drop of the broth. The calamari prepared in the Peruvian style provided a unique twist, although the slightly sour taste wasn't quite to my preference. All in all, it was a wonderful lunch experience!
