Wow, what an experience. Recommended to us by a local themselves. Quick service and friendly staff. Large menu to chose from. Incredible burritos, absolutely delicious. Some of the best Mexican we’ve experienced. Highly rate and recommend. A must visit when in San Fran
Having got back from Mexico City a month ago, the reviews for here sounded like something that could live up to what I had experienced. The quesadilla was ok but the tacos were bland and cold which was a disappointment.
Historically the most well known Burrito home in the city and Mission District. Everything is run like a clock. The fillings are just spiced and prepared just right. Carnitas, chicken, asada, etc have true home made flavors. The Tortillas both are super good and hold the fillings quite well. Though busy - it is a welcoming environment .
Great place to get delicious tacos - probably the best in the city if your taste buds agree with the line and full tables indoors (which they should)
First time in a few years that I have been back to this place. A little pricey (for a taco) but worth every penny! 1 taco is extremely filling (and I LOVE to eat)! I order the crunchy taco with everything made with carne asada. Don’t forget to add some green salsa for those that want it a little hotter. Powerful flavors, generous portions. This place is a MUST when visiting SF. The one con is standing in line. Best recommendation is to call and order ahead - take your food to go and eat somewhere else. Truly never a disappointment!
Lengua tacos were large, well seasoned . The shell held together which is a big plus for me. You sit inside and its airy with doors open.
The burritos were delicious - one of the few in the area that serve without rice! Took the vegetarian option and was good.
Saw this place on Eater SF. I took transit from downtown (very easy). You order at the window , pay and wait to pick up; I dined inside. It was busy but no problem getting a table. There's a family-run feel to the place. Burrito was outstanding (no rice = more meat), and good value as well. Highly recommend.
All of the burritos were good- we had the super and the regular chicken and beef- no rice In them though. I was told that’s just how they do theirs. They are big and fast with service.
Finding parking was a challenge. The wait in line was expected and bearable. They had the pacing of tables down to an art. Food was good and tasty, but I expected to be blown away. Maybe the expectations were set too high going in to the experience. I would go back again, but I would be more deliberate in my planning.

Amazing... super tasty. There is always a queue here. It looks big but moves quickly. The food is great, super tasty and amazingly fresh. There is a constant stream of taxi dropping people off. This place is an institution. However, unlike many famous food spots, the food is genuinely good.. really good. Worth an 11 hour flight from the UK!
Went here based on the Trip Advisor reviews and loved it. There is generally a queue but tends to move fairly well. You order your food then pay inside so a slick process. Good choice of vegetarian and meat options. I had the super vegetarian burrito and corn chips with salsa and avocado and loved it. Really reasonable prices. Great vibe and well attended by locals as well. Definitely worth a visit
Super delicious!!! We had a variety and everything was superb!! We will for sure return next time we are visiting the area!
This was a great stop for lunch! The food was great! Don’t be intimidated by the line, it moves quickly! Order your burritos super and dorado style and you won’t be disappointed!
Very nice and tasty Mexican food for a quick meal. I have a taco and my hub a burrito. We were both very satisfied. Be prepared to put your order at the cashier and grab your food! Enjoy
