Had solid sushi here Sun mid day. Only one other couple when we arrived, noticed very inflated prices for certain things on the menu and chose items on the menu that would not disappoint. I was very pleased with my Alaskan roll and Agedeshi tofu and hot tea. My bf ordered uni nigiri- $25 and the umani bowl. They were all decent size and fresh and tasty. Maybe the best unagi bowl i've tasted. Overall satisfied with our visit and would recommend.

My husband and I came on a Tuesday night around 6:45, we were sat right away even though it was pretty busy. It took 20 minutes for our order to be taken, another 40 minutes for them to tell me that they ran out of the lamb chops I had ordered and another 5 minutes for them to tell us that they didn't put in our order of gyozas, when that was the first thing my husband had ordered. My husband got his ramen 30 minutes after we ordered and I finally got my salmon after waiting for ANOTHER 20 minutes. Everyone around us who got seated after us got their food and drinks and even finished before I got my food. Food was decent but definitely not worth it.

We had the yakitori, the tempura, and a salad. The Yakitori was exceptional and was as good as a lot of the Yakitori's I had in Japan. The service was good at the start (when there was no one else in the restaurant) but by the end was a bit slow (the restaurant was packed because of a conference). I think the food was pretty expensive for what you got (~$40 for a somewhat light lunch), but it was one of the best meals I had in San Francisco.

The three of us and I ordered the eel rice bowl, and it tasted like something Korean would be familiar with. The miso soup that came with it was average. However, the salad served with the eel rice bowl was delicious. The salad consisted of cucumber, avocado, and cherry tomatoes mixed with various vegetables and soy sauce. The salmon roll was very delicious. Among the rolls sold in the U.S., it is at a 5-star level. Highly recommended salmon roll and eel rice bowl.I ordered gyoza dumplings, tempura (tempura), etc. and it wasn't bad.It wasn't much different from eating in Korea or Japan. It was very good for a sushi restaurant in the US.It was a Japanese restaurant in San Francisco, a dinner that gave rest to the body and tongue tired of meat.Vegetarian options: You can eat a variety of delicious foods just by being vegetarian.

Savor the essence of Japan in every sushi piece at this quaint spot. A symphony of flavors that deserves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

The worst experience I had in San Francisco. The food prices seemed higher than expected, and a mandatory 20% service tip was added, which I found surprising given the level of service provided. It was, unfortunately, a less than satisfactory experience for me. I would suggest caution to those planning to dine here during their San Francisco trip.

I want to give them .001 star. I waited for an hour to get my food and the price is different from menu. What’s wrong with the price? Too expensive. Please dont go!!

This was a mixed experience, but I am definitely going back. Ambience was pleasant but overlit for evening, and the waitress was friendly, helpful, and attentive. One of the rolls I got was very fresh, but also very blah. The other one is hands-down the best sushi roll I've ever had in my life. If you like the perfect blend of crunchy, sweet & spicy, be sure to order the Maui Waui!

I've been coming to this restaurant for many years now, and I've never been disappointed. Always fresh, high quality food! They have many sushi rolls to choose from, as well as grill and teriyaki dishes. Some reviewers mention a long wait for the food. I personally have experienced it only once (out of 20+ times I've been there), which I didn't mind at all because high quality sushi is worth waiting for!

I normally don't rate 1 star. Sorry that i had to. Roll was just OK. Nothing great about. The special croquettes was not so good either. It was just fried with stuffing was cold. The $25 uni was the worst. The color was brown ( it should be more like orange if fresh) and almost don't want to eat.I will try avoid if you can. It was just close to the hotel I stayed.

We visited at 12pm on Thurs. We were the first one in the restaurant. Two more parties came in, but for the most part it was very empty. Prices are quite high, but the service and food was excellent. We would come back for the lunch special, but we're just in town for work. I hope business picks up. It's a shame that the area has been so affected by the homeless situation.

Sushi amazing. Service not the best, but obviously under staffed. Ultimately, it was worth the wait.

Not the best service I've had, the food was served pretty quick, but I've expected more of the taste...

Just had Miyabiya for lunch and it was amazing! This place is surely underrated.. Both the sushi & tapas chef are clearly skilled and experienced. They have a good lunch deal with generous portions, hearty genmaicha served in a traditional teapot, and a big space to accommodate larger groups!
