This was our first time here. Although we had a reservation, we waited for nearly an hour to be seated. One patron after us was seated before us. I inquired as to when we would be seated. We were eventually seated and our suspicions confirmed that they were short staffed. Although no maître d' or manager apologized for the delay our server did so. She was working very hard and with a great attitude. She saved our night along with the kitchen staff from a horrible experience.The food was better than expected. We left happy but disappointed with management for not letting us now that they were short staffed and that the wait could be longer than expected.

I eat here after the gym often. Typically, the food is good and service is ok, but not today. Ordered a few apps and a coffee. The coffee was not good, burnt milk. When I asked the bartender to remove it, he just stared at me like I was trying to get something. Its just a coffee for gods sake. What he should have done was apologize. This place doesnt deserve to be in the four seasons. Mr Grass would do well to change the daytime bartender.

Highly desirable. Diverse menu. Excellent bread and butter. The duck was the weakest item on our menu, quite fatty and lacking in a memorable sauce. The pastas and salads with added salmon were great. The bouillabaisse was excellent. The carrot cake dessert was fine.

Went here for brunch with my wife today and they gave us what I believe is the best table available in the restaurant. It was very relaxed and comfortable and the staff couldn't be nicer and more accommodating. It was a great morning for us and our food was delicious too. If ever I'm back here in SF, I'll be coming here again and will be recommending it.
