Very visually pleasing! I bought two to-go and recommend eating them as soon as possible since they don't travel or store well. Best fresh and eating from a napkin while wandering around Japantown. I got a choco and strawberry (whatever had pink frosting?) one, I didn't see a fruity pebble topping one but I was there towards the closing end of their shop hours.

Some flavours are delicious! Some are okay. I personally enjoyed nuttela and strawberry. Others feel okay.
Not much to choose from.

We love their donuts so much. The textures were so good, soft, fluffy, a little crispy on the outside and the sweetness of the glazing was perfect. We got Matcha and cookie and cream donuts. There was no waiting line. There were a promotion for a half price for their anniversaries on that weekend. I want to go back to try more of their flavors. It is located on the second floor.

The best mochi donuts that is light, not that oily or too sweet. The best flavors are fruity pebble and sesame!
The place isn't so attractive, but the donuts are worth the visit.

Heartbroken experience--biting into a waffle from Mochill Mochi Donut broke my front tooth due to a hidden pebble! After my son purchased a waffle from their store in San Francisco's Japan Town, I bit into it and encountered a hard object-- a piece of sand or stone--which resulted in my front tooth chipping and a cut on my lip. This occurred just before my daughter's graduation, and due to dental appointment delays in SF, I cannot have it repaired in time. The presence of a foreign object in their food raises serious concerns about their quality control and food safety standards. Avoid Mochill Mochi Donut at all costs--your safety and well-being are not worth the risk.

I found an inch long metal needle (stapler like) in my matcha waffle.
Food is average and cold but didn’t expect much since it is franchise brand and it was the last one left on the shelf. Staff was average as well.
But I found a metal needle while chewing and I could have injured myself if I swallowed without noticing. Terrible food safety.
🍩 Chocolate Mochi Delight:
I decided to try the chocolate mochi donut here, and it was fantastic! The texture was wonderfully chewy and soft, and the chocolate glaze was really tasty. Even as someone who doesn't usually go for mochi, I thoroughly enjoyed this treat.
👍 Would Return:
If I find myself in the Mountain View area again, grabbing another one of their mochi donuts will definitely be on my list. It was a delicious and satisfying snack.

Really nice texture but extremely sweet (even for my sweet tooth). Taro, black sesame and matcha were great (in that order).
