Monarch is a fun, intimate bar with a cool two-sided setup. One side features a live DJ and a small dance floor, definitely a lively vibe, just watch out for the step along the wall. The other side is more relaxed, with a bar and seating where you can actually sit and enjoy a drink and conversation. It’s smaller than I expected, but that also gives it a quaint, cozy feel. Great spot if you’re looking for the best of both worlds in a more intimate setting rather than a big, crowded bar.
Had a great time with my friend celebrating new years.

Great venue for dancing!
Monarch is cool. Been to a number of events here (mostly corporate). Drinks are reasonable and the DJs are good. Some interesting entertainment at times including a trapeze swing over the main bar. Multiple rooms lend themselves to the party atmosphere.

Cool bar attached to an awesome speakeasy. The nightclub itself felt somewhat dirty and uninviting. I'd recommend spending your time and money at sister Money Loaned/Pawn Shop.

This dance club is fun from beginning to end. There are multiple ways to enter. I recommend entering from the Pawn Shop. There are multiple rooms, each with their own unique design and vibe. The staff are friendly and helpful. Watch your step when coming and going through rooms! The larger dance floor is super loud, which is great for dancing. But get this - near the dance floor there are velvety padded enclaves behind the speakers so that you can rest and talk to your new love interest without screaming at eachother. What a bonus! The neighborhood is sketchy though. (No comment on the adjoining restaurant because I didn't eat there.)

I went to Monarch to see Yung Bae DJ and the staff was kind and helpful. The set was great and so was the layout of the place. Once the set ended I met the DJ as he was leaving and the staff was nice enough to let me borrow a pen to get his autograph. Honestly a very enjoyable experience (in comparison to other clubs in the city which have been absolutely awful *cough cough Audio*)
Great night club and bar with classy and modern style. Saw Sofi Tukker with an open bar sponsored by a company, great times :)
Not the worst club I’ve ever been to but it wasn’t as cool as I expected lol The first room upstairs with a dance floor was entirely empty, and then there was another room next to that with a dj and a third room with a dj downstairs. The crowd was kind of weird and it seemed a bit dead? Not a lot of people and the people that were there were all older. I went with a friend and we’re both 28 and it seemed like we were the youngest people there. Overall ok but I don’t think I’d go back. Cover was $10 and they have a free Photo Booth. Also the area/neighborhood it’s in is very bad. There are a lot of homeless people outside and standing near the entrance.
I hosted an open bar here and the atmosphere and drinks were perfect. We also had delicious food catered.
No food. Good drinks and pretty decor great music
