I went to Monarch to see Yung Bae DJ and the staff was kind and helpful. The set was great and so was the layout of the place. Once the set ended I met the DJ as he was leaving and the staff was nice enough to let me borrow a pen to get his autograph. Honestly a very enjoyable experience (in comparison to other clubs in the city which have been absolutely awful *cough cough Audio*)

Not the worst club I’ve ever been to but it wasn’t as cool as I expected lol The first room upstairs with a dance floor was entirely empty, and then there was another room next to that with a dj and a third room with a dj downstairs. The crowd was kind of weird and it seemed a bit dead? Not a lot of people and the people that were there were all older. I went with a friend and we’re both 28 and it seemed like we were the youngest people there. Overall ok but I don’t think I’d go back. Cover was $10 and they have a free Photo Booth. Also the area/neighborhood it’s in is very bad. There are a lot of homeless people outside and standing near the entrance.

Nice bar (the bar is great) great staff, great atmosphere, but the downstairs masquerade party is dealing with a very whack young DJ- playing same beat on loop, with a completely empty dance floor (the whole time), and refused (the only) request (for a birthday song- White Horse) for a group of 12 people, with masquerade masks, who came to dance, drink, celebrate, and have fun. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 People are sitting standing and waiting around, waiting for a better DJ. Hopefully they’ll switch out soon. The upstairs DJ is better. Stay upstairs! Spending zero on drinks.

If you are looking for a underground nightclub Phill this is a place to be. If you are more one who likes pop music is definitely won’t be your type. Be careful outside because there are extreme amount of homeless and drug use right as you walk out the venue.

The downstairs floor is a nice atmosphere but if you're going to have a theme night, please follow the theme. Went for a Charli xcx night and after midnight they changed djs and were only playing generic club songs. Not what I paid for. If you're going for a basic club night yes it does the job but if you want anything more, prepare to be disappointed.
