This dance club is fun from beginning to end. There are multiple ways to enter. I recommend entering from the Pawn Shop. There are multiple rooms, each with their own unique design and vibe. The staff are friendly and helpful. Watch your step when coming and going through rooms! The larger dance floor is super loud, which is great for dancing. But get this - near the dance floor there are velvety padded enclaves behind the speakers so that you can rest and talk to your new love...
I went to Monarch to see Yung Bae DJ and the staff was kind and helpful. The set was great and so was the layout of the place. Once the set ended I met the DJ as he was leaving and the staff was nice enough to let me borrow a pen to get his autograph. Honestly a very enjoyable experience (in comparison to other clubs in the city which have been absolutely awful *cough cough Audio*)
Not the worst club I’ve ever been to but it wasn’t as cool as I expected lol The first room upstairs with a dance floor was entirely empty, and then there was another room next to that with a dj and a third room with a dj downstairs. The crowd was kind of weird and it seemed a bit dead? Not a lot of people and the people that were there were all older. I went with a friend and we’re both 28 and it seemed like we were the youngest people there. Overall ok but I don’t think...
