I went to Monarch to see Yung Bae DJ and the staff was kind and helpful. The set was great and so was the layout of the place. Once the set ended I met the DJ as he was leaving and the staff was nice enough to let me borrow a pen to get his autograph. Honestly a very enjoyable experience (in comparison to other clubs in the city which have been absolutely awful *cough cough Audio*)
Not the worst club I’ve ever been to but it wasn’t as cool as I expected lol The first room upstairs with a dance floor was entirely empty, and then there was another room next to that with a dj and a third room with a dj downstairs. The crowd was kind of weird and it seemed a bit dead? Not a lot of people and the people that were there were all older. I went with a friend and we’re both 28 and it seemed like we were the youngest people there. Overall ok but I don’t think...
If you are looking for a underground nightclub Phill this is a place to be. If you are more one who likes pop music is definitely won’t be your type.
Be careful outside because there are extreme amount of homeless and drug use right as you walk out the venue.
