We celebrated our honeymoon in this beautiful restaurant and had a fantastic evening. Starting from personalised Menu cards, to great food and service. The steak was one of the best we've ever had. We would absolutely recommend this restaurant and are grateful for this perfect Dinner.
I was disappointed by the quality of service in the “fine dining” restaurant. We waited 25 minutes after seating to get a glass of water and menus. I spoke to the supervisor who - to be fair - made things better. It does of course spoil your evening if you have to make a complaint - it was embarrassing since my guests were unhappy too. Free deserts. But total bill was over $500 for 4 diners (no appetisers). All food and wine were excellent. Sort your service levels out if you expect return business.
The atmosphere and service were top notch. Servers were friendly and attentive. The only issue was our steaks were cooked opposite of what we each ordered. They did offer to recook but did not want to wait for new steaks so we traded. Overall, nice restaurant, just an unfortunate mistake that can take away from a good steak for many.
I have been to a number of Morton's Steakhouses in the United States but unfortunately the SF location was not up to standards. Disappointing service, drinks and food. Cannot recommend.
Great Food, excellent service. Our server was great! The place has Outstanding wine selection. I had a great birthday there!
The food was good, but not exceptional. The chopped salad might have been the best item on the menu. The Willamette pinto by the glass was excellent. They put too much salt on the steaks and the truffle fries. The steaks were cooked perfectly, but not hot when served. They were warm. No, the steaks should be served hot on the plate. But the quality of meat was excellent. Our server seemed like he would rather be anyplace else than serving tables. To his defense, he was busy. I've gone to a lot of steakhouses. And Morton's has seriously decl8ne over the years. Or the other steakhouses have surpassed Morton's. Compared to Fleming's,, Sundance, Epic, Forbes Mill, Maestro's,, I put Morton's on the bottom. But the remodeled Morton's is better than it was fifteen years ago. Perhaps it's not the fault of this SF Morton's, but more likely Morton's company itself. The spinach and mushrooms side was excellent.
Great restaurant, I just was disappointed with my server. I did notice several other servers and they all seemed a lot more together and organized.

Our server Emmie is really knowledgeable. Friendly go above and beyond with her service. Great experience for the late Father's Day celebration for us. Thank you so much you are amazing. We will be back for you again.

Wait staff is exceptional. Tomahawk steak was not good. We have been here many times and have always found the quality and service exceptional. We had never had a Tomahawk steak, and will not try again, it was way too much fat for us. Sides, drinks, salads, wine were all great. Maybe I needed it but the vodka martini was great!
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Morton's, celebrating an early Father's Day. For appetizers, we tried the shrimp cocktail and the lobster macaroni and cheese and for entrees we tried the New York strip and the twin lobster tails. We also ordered the creamed corn and mashed potato side dishes. Everything was delicious, and our server Amar was exceptional.
Service was slow but gentleman was friendly. Our steak was overly charred. We had to cut those pieces off in order to enjoy our filet. Flavor was basic, nothing special. When I visit a Morton's, I expect perfection and that did not happen.
Food was missing, the server could hardly hear us and missed multiple items including my steak. When we ordered appetizers, I ordered 2 orders of 2 crab cakes (which would equal 4 total, 2 on each plate). He served 1 on each plate and stated that he didn't hear 2. My steak was sent back 3 times (1 because my original steak was boneless and the 2nd time because my steak was raw, the 3rd time I was done checking and the steak was still raw on the inside and tough on the outside) and end up being overcooked. When we ordered dessert, the server once again misses my cappuccino (didn't hear my for the 3rd time and I speak loud) This was a very disappointing visit.
From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we felt welcomed. The staff fabulous the food incredible the drinks very good.
