There’s sewage water leaking in their basement and they haven’t closed their doors to the public. It is a health food hazard and overall disgusting.. there’s video on IG with evidence on this issue..

I was home sick today and ordered delivery from here and was so happy that I did. During the time eating my sandwiches, I completely forgot what ails me. And the gut bomb provided was the perfect foundation for an afternoon nap to rest and recover. So I argue Morty's has medicinal properties.
I had the pastrami reuben and 714 sandwich (only half of each, I am not that bad) and they were both amazing. The reuben had generous amounts of pastrami and sauerkraut, and was smothered with delicious Swiss cheese into a gob of goodness. The rye was perfectly toasted and crisp, and I took my Russian dressing in the side (I'm a dipper). The 714 was a great take on the classic Philly cheesesteak; plenty of grilled roast beef and onions topped with some tangy and mildly spicy peppers and a creamy chipotle mayo sauce. I also had to try their famous onion rings and they were pretty great too I have to admit. Only disappointment was the French onion soup my wife ordered, it tasted a bit flat and lacking.
Overall, really impressed and look forward to ordering from them again. And oh yeah, special kudos to the delivery guy who rode his bike in a freakin' thunderstorm to deliver my food!

Today I was randomly craving sandwiches and I came across Morty’s as one of the options. What drew my attention was the quantity of sandwiches on the menu so I went ahead and ordered the New Cubano. There were so many ingredients in there and I was so hungry that I thought, surely it would taste really good. I was wrong. You know that sandwich is not good if you’re hungry and it doesn’t taste good. It was simply mediocre. The portion size is very small for a $13 sandwich and they didn’t even cut it properly as you can see in the pictures. The sweet potato fries were extremely soggy and practically inedible. The portion size for the fries was extremely little as well. Total combined was a total of $18. The service was not so great either as the lady working at the register did not even greet me (and no, it was not busy, there were only 2 other people besides me and they were seated, eating). Maybe they have better sandwiches in their menu, who knows? But I don’t think this place is worth your money, I would definitely prefer the Subway across the street!

Ordered a chopped salad on a whim. Showed up 10 minutes later, was greeted warmly, my meal was ready, when I opened the box at home it looked and tasted amazing - generous fresh greens, cherry tomatoes, chicken, bacon, bleu cheese, sliced egg & 1/4 of a perfectly ripe avocado. Amazing lemon dressing! Well done Morty’s.

To be honest, I absolutely love this place, but will probably be avoiding due to the poor customer service I have received as of late. Their food is great, but they hired a new guy that has some of the worst customer service skills I have ever witnessed and/or experienced. I am a regular to this place (or was) and gave him a couple chances before I finally decided to leave this review. He is rude and has a negative tone. He just seems so bothered by the customers. Last week I witnessed him ask a customer to hand another customer their order across the room because the customer didn’t hear him when he called out their order. The customer that he delegated to didn’t know the other customer. That is the employee’s job to hand the food to the customer. This guy needs some serious training. The last guy was excellent. I’m sorry to see he is no longer around. I would never want to get anyone fired. That is not the goal here. I just want the owners of Morty’s to be aware that your new hire could benefit from some customer service training.

Big menu with consistent quality in hot and cold sammies. I’m normally skeptical of the quality of a huge varied menu, but this place knows what they’re doing. The french fries are the good McDonald’s style. Bread on most of the sammies I’ve had has been a chewy brown roll with the kind of tiny crust bubbles that remind you of sourdough. The interior reminds me of if a Cracker Barrel and late 90s Jason’s Deli had a kid and plunked it in the middle of the TL, just missing the salad bar and unlimited soft serve.Prices are great and location is convenient. I only wish they were open on weekends. Let’s keep this place in business!

I got The Vegannos sandwich and added mushrooms. It was a good sandwich, pretty simple.
This place is so good, they’re a little slow during the rush but besides that they’re great, The lady who commented about the service is an idiot , they’re obviously understaffed and busy. I don’t understand what she’s talking about with the service, it’s a deli in the tenderloin.. what do you expect? Them to be smiling and getting on their knees to pease you ? Less entitled white people in the area is better for the community thanks for not coming back to my favorite deli and driving the prices up Karen!
