Movida had really good food and drinks but we were not prepared for the club-like vibe early on a weeknight. Food was a great fusion of flavors and drinks were very good and aesthetic. BUT... I went here with colleagues and was surprised that at 5:30 they had a live DJ and it was extremely loud. We could barely hear each other. We also had a very awkward service experience, being interrupted regularly to check in if we were ready to order. We also had plates taken away while we were still eating and had to ask them to leave them. Lastly, we were asked to leave at exact the 2 hour mark because they needed the table for the next group. We weren't done eating and had just been asked if we wanted more drinks moments before, which we did order. So we had to quickly finish our drinks and leave. Very rude to do this.

Very cool ambiance! The cocktails were well crafted and the food was really flavorful! Only a few cons- the music was a bit loud so sometimes it felt like shouting to have a conversation and it was a bit surprising to only get one taco per serving for the price - but it was a very good taco (the saffron chicken).

Quite loud and overpriced. Drinks were worth it, food not so much. Nice chips and dips + churros. Skip the tacos. Overall it’s a rather good cocktail bar but a mediocre restaurant.

This restaurant is incredible!! From the creative menu with explosive flavors to the elegant ambience, attentive service, and music/live DJ - they offer a wonderful mix to experience. They are in the Michelin guide and for a good reason. I highly recommend the pomegranate chicken tinga taquitos and tostada on tahdig/crispy rice!

The foods and drinks were excellent. The service was a little jarring - there were 2 staff members helping us order. There was complete disconnect between the two and both of them kept swinging by to check in and get our orders 2 different times. My friend and I kept getting interrupted because of this. Might have been a more pleasant experience with only one staff member helping us.I found a toothpick in the dish we ordered. I let the manager know and he put his fingers in my plate and just grabbed it and apologized. I mean - that’s unsanitary and it happened so quickly. We weren’t charged for the dish though.I probably will not be coming back here.

Service was great but I was expecting better food? The tostada came with lukewarm temperatures. The fries were $30 and I think there were maybe 7 pieces??? The Rose drink I would give my highest review. It was better than I expected

I thoroughly enjoy this place. If you appreciate a fusion of Persian and Mexican cuisine, you'll find creatively crafted dishes that bring out the best of both worlds. The ambiance is perfect for celebrations or a delightful dinner. The staff is truly fabulous, ensuring a warm welcome and a genuinely enjoyable experience.

We will be dreaming about this place for a long time. I cannot recommend it enough. The service was incredible and smooth. Our waitress was so lovely, attentive, and helpful in our decisions. The food was fast but insanely delicious and flavorful. The drinks were equally as flavorful. The only downside is that we are here out of state and cannot come again tomorrow.

Great Sunday Brunch! Had the cheeseburger with a Bloody Mary and will definitely go back for that. Also shared their churros plate....yummy! The waitstaff super friend, very nice decor and the music superb, although a little loud for ambiance...but we were dancing in our seats.Do miss out!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I made a reservation via Resy for an important celebratory dinner driving up from the peninsula. When my girlfriend and I arrived shortly before our scheduled reservation, the host informed us that the manager gave our table to one of their friends group. The host then offered to seat us at the bar near the door, which looked very uncomfortable and was cold from the door being opened and closed. He then told us that either we could take those seats or wait to be sat at the other side of the bar (amount of wait time for that option was unclear) or we’d have to wait another three hours for a table. Also, said that we had a choice to speak with the manager. I did not feel welcome there and did not appreciate the snobby pretentious vibe so we decided to leave and find another random place to eat dinner. Allegedly my reservation was for the bar which was completely false. I made a regular reservation for a table and it was not honored. What a disgrace and the worst hosting experience i’ve ever had at a restaurant. Shame on the manager and host.

Service was great. Food was decent and had a night club vibe. Cocktails were really good but pricey.
