The Detroit-style pizza is delicious! Crisp bottom, crunchy cheesy rim, pillowy soft interior, and super-fresh toppings. We got it as a Caprese-style, with fresh tomato and basil. Beyond the pizza, service was very friendly and the new parklet outside is the best parklet I've seen anywhere. Recommended!

WOW! I keep coming back for more!! Mozzarella Di Bufala is an outstanding hidden gem located on West Portal. They have the best authentic Brazilian and Italian food and everything I have ordered so far has been perfect every time. The service here is impeccable. Dominic Pedro and Stephen have been great! I've been hitting the Italian side of the menu mostly and I can't wait to try the Brazilian food next. Will be updating the review with photos once I try more!!

After 20 plus years of having their pizza, which I used to consider the best, unfortunately, is not the same anymore. I ordered a slice of di Bufala pizza,And first time I had to throw away most of it. Ingredients and dough quantity is not the same. Pepperoni dry and extremely salty, sausage, salami, cheese lower quality, dough mushy.The place is extremely small with no waiting area and lots of people traffic next to the tables. We, consumers understand to the price raise, but not to raise prices and lower the quality on food (like so many restaurants are doing now.)

Received a message from the owners saying give us another shot! It's still a no from me! The carbonara pasta is super oily and flavorless. Ordered breadsticks with Marinara. Came in a bag over the pasta bowl with no marinara. The pizza is flavorless but crust okay. How is the Brazilian food flavorful but not the Italian side. Maybe the restaurant should focus on one thing. Will give them one more shot. Still trying to support a local business. Please give suggestions on what I should try next.
